Cats are way more independent than dogs..they're quite happy doing their own thing..My G/f got a harness for our cat before to do this..so we went out for a walk one evening,(it felt a bit odd but fun to be out walking a cat!-I'd never seen it being done before..) Everything was going fine, until we were on our way home..and THEN He asserted his independence by shucking out of the harness and running off into someone's Garden and hiding under a bush! After recovering him,We carried him home after that...

Me and my 2 cats are only playing in the house. Never in the outside. Because in my place, it is dangerous. We are near in highways. So many vehicles paasing by, might get hit. Then, I am also scared that they will be stolen, get dirty, injured, and get a fight. So, they are just inside in my house all the time.

that is not good i think, since cat should be given some outdoor and natural breathing space and they must go out easily and have fun like always.so try to take them away even if they are scared

My current cat I'm not letting outside due to the previous cat I had getting into so much trouble and such that it traumatized me for life. So in the beginning I was taking her out on a leash at times but decided to not do that and just keep her indoors. It would be cheaper not to spend the $$ for the expensive kind of flea remedy I get for my cats. So she stays in. But she does like to "escape" now and then unfortunately so when she does that and not too often she will explore on her own. I really try not to let her out at all though, so much more peaceful for me and not having to worry about her getting into fights, or other mishaps.

thats a good option for sure to take the cat out ,but it all depends on the mood of the cat,if it so happy,it will behave well ,all it needs is a little bit of training to go with and of course it will relieve the moment, anyways good luck for you since your cat does not get involved in mishaps O:)

Yes! I believe in taking your cat outside! I can't do it here, as I don't live in my own house with a yard, but when I was growing up, we'd take a clothes line, and stretch it from the house to garage. Then, we would attach the leach to the clothline so the kitty could walk in the yard. she was on a harness, and the clothes line kept the leash off the ground so she could not choke or get tangled up, but she could sit, lie down and walk around...so yes, I agree, cats like to be taken outide and played with :D ... it's very very fun to do so :)
