Whats worse than a slow internet speed?

I just recently read an article written in our university paper telling about the certain proposed bills in the US such as the Anti-Counterfeiting trade agreement (ACTA, Stop online piracy act (SOPA) and Protect IP act (ACTA). According to the said article, these bills have the goal of providing protection to the copyrights of music, videos, articles and whatsoever and eliminating "pirate sites" along with it. In addition, this would restrict our freedom in the internet, making social networking sites inaccessible. Burying our beloved Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Youtube, and probably Mylot too. I cannot really verify these thoughts for I did not have time to research them myself. I would just leave the researching my fellow mylotters. I am just here to share the knowledge that particular article imparted to me. Also to share with you its horrifying effects worldwide.
