would you change a part of your body?

My friend arrived home from Saudi and I noticed something different in her face. I was positive that a part of her face was surgically altered but I couldn't tell what it is. She strongly denied having undergone surgical alteration when asked. Then I saw it-it's a noselift. There are no scars but there is asymmetry of the skin on the sides of the nose. It's obvious if closely observed. She appears prettier now. What part of your body would you want altered if given a good chance?

The way you look is not the most important thing in your life. Sometimes it's not important at all. I think that it's useless and dangerous to submit oneself to such plastic operations. I have problems with my lungs and would be glad to change them. Unfortunately this is impossible.

Some people would risk their health just to look good.. Hope you get well..

If these people have the same problem as yours, they will spend their money to save their lungs. Whatever your problem is, I pray you'll get well..

I do not think that I would surgically alter any part of my body, in order to look better than before. I am fortunate to be a slim built person, who can use exercise, rest and proper dieting to keep myself in shape. Isoheoh, I can understand why people may choose to try altering their bodies, in order to improve on their physical features. Indeed, some of these individuals may have esteem issues. Threrfore, should you know anyone seek to improve their image using that mechanism (using surgery), do not be eager to criticize them.

hmm, right. My friend is 'physically'' perfect. Her nose before the surgery was beautiful. She's happily married and has 4 beautiful kids. Still not contented..maybe.. Thanks..

I will certainly not opt for change any of my body part if I am given a chance to do so. All body parts are given by mother nature and these are according to your body structure. I agree if there is any disability then once may think of changing it become able, but to undergo a surgery just for looking good is not good. As any type of surgery will make your body weak than the natural body. If you have some damaged body part and you undergo a surgery is a necessary so according to me one must undergo surgery, but just for changing external appearance undergoing surgery is not good. I will like to add this is my personal openion what I think.

Even if some people says that my nose is kinda flat, I won't spend my money (if I have) for a noselift! This is how I was born and raised. It's a God-given body and is sacred so I won't allow any alterations to make it perfect. I could use a bit of make up if needed sometimes to look more prettier but I won't get any operations like that. I am contented on what I am and have now.

Ah yes. I remember our debate in school. A gay classmate went wild defending his belief-"..what good will your money do if you are ugly?.." People have different priorities after all.

nope.. i love the way i am now even though i'm not too good looking like other people.. i think people who try to change any part of their body maybe in my opinion had a low self esteem (like they feel they not pretty enough even though they actually are pretty)..

Right ray. It's the most common reason.. I will alter my body if it will give me eternal salvation. I'm saved anyway so no need to do it!

I would not change anything since I am happy by the way I look. I think people should learn to accept themselves no matter how you look. God created each and every one of us like his own image and no need to change it.

Well I really like that there is that kind of medicine because when someone suffer from some kind of disaster like car crash he just need that. But I don't think that people should change themselves. Every person is unique and just don't have to change something in his body. We should be happy that we are here in that world and live it. People don't have to be the best of the best in all. You are the person how you see yourself inside. This is my thinking so I don't want to change nothing on my body.

ah yes. That's excused to save that destroyed part of the body..

I want to be taller but I can't change my height. It's just a want. if there is 'height for sale' maybe i'd buy. Every shorty will likely do the same. But I won't. There's a lot of shorty out there and they're not ailing anything.
