Hi. I want to know a little more about homeschooling. The only thing I don't like though is the aspect that there are not any other kids there that they can interact with. Where do I have to look for to see what they need to know? If you or anyone homeschool their children, please tell me more about it. Where can I find more information and do I have to have a license or whatever for it? Thanks in advance. Actually, I want to teach them at home for now and then when they go to kindergarten, then I can have them go there but also continue teaching them at home.

It seems like you want to homeschool your kids during their preschool time. I just know the homeschool law is different in different country, hence you have to seek for more information in your own country or state for the licensing. As for the resources, you can actually find a lot of homeschooling information online. It depends what you want your kids to learn or what you think is more suitable for your kids, I think there is no fix rule for that. I decided to apply Waldorf methods for homeschooling my kids during their preschool and primary school periods. If you are interested, you can search for Waldorf education online for more information. This is a site about Waldorf homeschoolers: http://www.waldorfhomeschoolers.com/

I have enrolled my son into a school here in the Philippines that are offering home school program. I have just searched the internet about it. Socialization might be a problem but there are a lot of ways that you can do about the socialization things like encouraging them to make friends with other kids.I have also sent my son to school since kinder up to second grade so I think he knows already how to mingle with other kids. You do not need to have a license to teach your children at home. You should look for any school that offers homeschool programs or go to department of education and inquire about it.

I've never met anyone here who homeschools their children, but I think it is much more usual in the US than in Europe. No idea what you had to argue with to be allowed to do it here, maybe if you live so remotely that your children can't physically go to school it would be allowed. I think it sounds like a good idea to do both though, both the kindergarten and the home-schooling. You can teach them the stuff they need to know about grammar and science, but interacting with other children is more difficult to teach at home :-) Hope you find out what you need to do :-)

For i haven't tried about the homeschooling before, maybe it's good for kids to learn, but otherwise, their skills of learning to get along with people maybe not that good.So everything has pros and cons, maybe teach at home can still help.
