In my neighbor hood we have a few stores that are close by and I went into one yesterday just because I did not feel like going to Wal Mart so we have this grocery store that is kind of close here well it is closer than Wal Mart or other Grocery stores so I went in there it is a Chinese supermarket which I go there a few times because of the convenience and other than that they do have some cool things in there but anyway I went in the store yesterday and bought a bag of beans and four oranges it was six dollars!! The type of beans I wanted the dollar store or other stores close by did not have them and lately all the other stores oranges looked really bad and they had some really nice ones but I found that to be rather high price for what I got do you agree?

Concern markets are always really expensive. The one at the end of our complex is not too bad compared to most I have been to. There is a fruit stand right there to buy produce from. They are a bit more than the others that are a bit further away (but still walking distance). I prefer to go to the other ones, I just stop on the way home. Can't complain about $3 for 10lbs of oranges.

It was just four oranges alone and I thought it was kind of high but I liked how fresh they were.

The oranges at Wal Mart are cheaper and the beans are too but I got a big bag of beans for $1.99 I think that was sort of a good deal. The oranges even though they were $1.99 a pound Wal Marts oranges looked really bad and these were so ripe and good!

Well, even in Italy the fruit, in general, is particularly expensive. Since more or less than 1 U.S. dollar equals about 1 euro, it seems to me that in fact your spending precisely $ 6 is too high, comparing it to the few things that you have bought.

Hello jahernandezrivas
Here, we can get ten (10) fresh ears of corn for $3.00. Do you think that is a good deal?

Umm not sure the corn here sometimes are Three for a dollar and sometimes 20 cents a cob I am not really good with math but I am sorry can't answer that but it sounds like a good deal anyway. Thanks for your response and have a great day.

Walmart destroys the economy and gives out some very poor jobs and conditions for workers, on top of that all of their goods are typically cheap and foreign. By helping out the litte store you probably helped the workers and owners that are from your community and probably bought the produce from a closer source than overseas. I hope that you enjoy your beans and oranges.
