Bad customer service experience: Would you really spend your time...

...spreading the word around like posting bad comments in social networking websites and blogs? I do not mean like just posting them today - like every single day to make sure the company name would look bad and everyone would know about it.
I have experienced bad customer service... and I admit that I have done stuff like this before. But then I realized - what's the point? I'm just wasting my time venting out my anger online and I don't even get anything in return.
Resolution: Don't invest money on that company anymore who's given you a terrible experience. Learn from the experience.
That's just me talking. What do you think?

I guess its easier for some people to vent out their feelings about the experiences with bad customer service through posting in the net. I guess is more of having an outlet rather that sharing the bad vibes to other people.
