Usher's got involved in a jet ski accident and now the kid is reportedly brain-dead.
It got me thinking, which is more compassionate? Fighting for the life of a loved one or just go ahead and pull the plug to avoid more pain?
What do you think?

For me, I wouldn't want pull the plug on anyone, even if he/she isn't a relative of mine. The only circumstances that I would allow it if it was his decision which I am not in control of. I may see him/her suffer most of the time, but all I can do for him/her is support him/her until his/her last breath.

But what if that particular person wasn't able to communicate what he/she really wants? Usually these people are already in "vegetable" state. And the doctors usually turn to the immediate family for the decision.
All I know is its really hard to be in that situation. I hope I will not be put in that scenario.

By the way, what I meant was USHER'S STEPSON got into a jet ski accident, not Usher himself. Sorry for the error! :)
