Do you believe in NDE's?

NDE means Near Death Experience. It happens when people die, like on an operating table, and they stay dead for a few minutes or even as long as 30 minutes. What happens then is that the doctors and nurses work very hard to revive the patients and bring them back from the brink of death. Once they are saved the patients report that either they saw a very bright light, where they floated up towards heaven. They say they feel so much peace and love, and know they've gone to heaven. Or they see only darkness, hear lots of screaming, wailing and moaning, and they see horrible creatures (demons) and the know they've gone to Hell. You can watch videos on YouTube entitled "beyond and back I survived", in which some of these people are interviewed. Some people don't believe it. And some scientists can duplicate both experiences by stimulating certain parts of the brain. A person can experience both experiences depending on where the doctor applied the stimulation, but I think that this is because that's how God wired our brains. When we die, the correct experience will happen. Besides, the experiences that these doctors reproduce only seem to be one of the two; going to Heaven, or Hell. Why only those two experiences? And people report seeing their body and can describe details about the room they were in, what was said by the staff and one person even reported floating up past the top floor of the hospital and seeing something red on the roof. Later, they went up to the roof to see if they could find this "red" item and found an old red shoe. Before my step-father died, he reported seeing long dead relatives telling him that they were waiting for him, and not to worry, that everything would be all right. I have since started going to church and reading the Bible. What do you think?
