That is the question asked by one of my online friends. Jokingly I answered, "Without it, I would not be here mylotting. I wouldn't know you, either." Indeed, without it, life would be harder since most of the communication is made through the internet. What do you think life would be like without it? You may have other thoughts about it.

Yes, internet has made things a lot easier. We should thank the creator of the internet. Without it, there would be a lot of difficulties in doing things in this modern life.

Life would be pretty much like it was 25-30 years ago. Folks would be back to getting most of their information from books, TV and radio, and we would write letters again and use the phone more. The Internet is not as many people think an excuse to waste time, or a precursor to wasting time. People who waste time have always found a way to do just that, if they don't have the Internet, there are fiction books, TV, radio, movies, malls, all kinds of ways to waste time. The Internet is a tool that can be used for productive purposes, or wasteful purposes. Before the Internet, a person would use a TV for example as a tool; it too can be used wisely, for productive purposes such as the news, or entertainment when time permits. Or it can be used in a non-productive, time wasting way like the person who sits in front of it all day instead of doing what needs done. In either case, it is the person who chooses how to use the tool, not the tool dictating how it should be used. The dog wags its tail, or the tail wags the dog.

Before the advent of internet in our day to day life, things went on as it should be though in a little bit slower pace. Now that the internet is very much in our existence things have taken a sudden spurt towards hectic activity. The ease with which knowledge and entertainment could be accessed has brought in novel changes in our outlooks. Some kind of darkness would befall on us if internet activity is suddenly disrupted.

Internet has advantages and disadvantages, I think. But if we weigh them, the advantages will weigh more. The loss of IT would be making all users shocked. Many would lose a lot of income. The countries would also suffer.

I am sure most of us would be more productive without it!

Are you trying to say that internet has made many of us less productive? According to me, we would be frustrated due to the loss of IT.

It is not like that internet has made life but life has made the internet. People were lived before the invention of internet. In this term i can say that internet has modified the human life and thus come people closer. Most of the people today very well know about the internet and some of them are internet addictive. It maybe possible that some people still don't use the internet but they are connected with internet this or that way. Today we see that everything goes to be online and the reason behind this is low loss and more benefits. As far as the productivity is concern then i think it has become double because of the internet. Here i am not saying that internet is okay from all the aspects, there are some dis-advantages of it. But these dis-advantages are very less compare to its benefits. That's why internet is very popular today.

I think internet is now part of modern life. Those who live in the modern life become users of the technology. For example, someone who uses his Atm card when he wants to draw his money, he uses IT because using atm is one of the result of internet technology.

If there won't be internet then I think communication will be really hard. i have a few relatives living in other countries and without internet and skype, we would not be able to communicate with them anymore. internet plays a big role in our life. We eat, breathe and live internet. I think I have not gone a day without using internet. And of course, without internet, there will be also no mylot :( happy mylotting, friend!

You mean to say that internet helps a lot today. Internet has made people close together, although they are physically far spart.

A person does not miss something he or she has never experienced. Therefore life was interesting and enjoyable before the Internet. Now that I am very keen on the Internet my life would be miserable without the Internet. Funnily enough I wasn't keen on computers and didn't become keen on the Internet until around 2001. I use the Internet to communicate with friends. The Internet gives me information and lets me have a happy time. I love My Lot and it is one thing available on the Internet. Life wouldn't be happy if the Internet was lost forever. If I move home and can't get the Internet through broadband I go out and buy mobile internet for my laptop.

Personally, I think my life would go on as normal without the Internet. Perhaps I would save a little money not having to pay for Internet connection but I would miss quite a lot of things without the Internet like the speedy information that the Internet provides.

Hey there bro, Well I do think that life would be a little bit harder than it used and i guess there would be more jobs abroad since or for people in delivering messages or anything to do with transporting information around, and communication would really suck, snail mail and expensive long distance calls.

Life would different but, in those days people lived and today we lived..life will not stop. If it was not internet, it would have been something else to replace it..whatever happens, happens for good. With internet communication has become so so much easier..keep going with the flow..

Life will become more complicated without internet connection, Now we do most of the bill payments online, without standing in long queues. If there is no internet available we have to physically stand in queues to do those. Apart from that communication between people will become difficult and costlier. :D
