Gone are those days when growing up a beard was considered to be a symbol of manhood and masculinity. The clean shaven man induces in us vibrant youth status ,cleanliness, cordiality, facial expression, elusiveness etc. On the other hand streaks of hairs on the face is indicative of sexuality ,open and explicit facial structure, lethargic nature, honorable disposition etc etc. A man who is thoroughly clean with the facial hairs shaved off radiates simplicity and friendliness. The bearded man is often viewed as more ferocious and unfriendly. Clean shaven look is that of fashionable elites.

This depends a lot on where one lives and also the style goes back and forth just as the length of hair for women does here in the US. I will say, though, personally I prefer a man with facial hair, as long as it is clean and somewhat groomed.

Right...a trimmed beard looks more attractive and graceful.Cleaning up the strands of hair on the face is also essential as part of hygienic habit.

I guess that depends on where you are from. The males from Jamacia ive heard them calling the clean shaven males as looking being smooth like females. Personally i love and always will love a goatee. Especially with a dread or two on it.

hi....i personally liked and still have the same opinion....that bearded man are more attractive ...though it is my own personal view...some may also call me out-dated
but yes...apart from the fact that the man in beard looks like an angry-young-man....still i prefer it...
also i have the thinking that some things suit some people and don't suit to some other's face...like some faces look good with mustache and some don't...so it also depends on the type of faces....

That's a pretty stereotypical comment. I think some men look great in a beard, whereas others ... not so much.
I think whether to sport facial hair is a personal decision and while it might not be as common as it once was, I know many who love wearing a beard and would do it regardless of what the current fashion trend was.
Many men will grow a beard during certain times of the year, then save it when the weather gets warmer.

I think that these days people decide on how they want to wear their facial hair is a way that people are able to express themselves. For example, my little brother chooses to not have any facial hair while my husband prefers to have a little bit of scruffy facial hair because of the fact that he feels like it represents who he really is.
Around here, I really don't think that there is a typical way that everyone wears their facial hair.

Well you are right at a certain point. But you have to remember that it may not be on some countries. Meaning while it may be true in your observation and outlook, it may be different for other people in different areas. In our place, well shave face is generally the one that is mostly viewed as clean, simple, and youthful.

hello,
I dont know what I like most, clean shave or a beard. When I shave, at that time I think I will look good in a beard. But when my beard grew a bit long, then I couldn'y help myself to cut it. I dont like to have a long beard or moustache. It makes me uncomfortable. Some people look totally cool in a beard but I think it takes a lot of grooming and I dont have that much time to give to my beard. In my opinion you need to have a great face in order to carry a clean shaved face. These days people prefer clean shaved, but I think the bearded look trend has not gone away totally.
