My patient has been in the hospital for five days. He was discharged but he refused to leave. When asked why he said, " I prefer here better than home. I will get worse talking to no one and seeing no one."
His doctor and the social service representative gave him a lengthy advises but they didn't convince the patient.
When I was at the door to see him, I heard the cleaner speaking to him. The cleaner said, "Go home. Take my number so that everytime you feel alone, call me. I will always be at a park waiting for you." The patient said, "Thank you. Please help me pack!" I went inside and said, "Can I join you in the park?" The patient was delighted and I could see joy in his eyes.
We will meet in 2days.
Sometimes, we are not aware that we have a role in other's lives.

Really you are very right. Some people feel that they are neglected by all and feel very alone. When we try to support them they feel very good. And we too get delighted by seeing a joy in their eyes. This is a good activity to do. Always trey to make others happy whenever one want to be happy. Generally this is an important role nobody is aware about.

Yeah. They don't have the heart to act but they are filed with 'wisdom on how to'. Such empty wisdom is not wisdom at all!

I adore you. we really have roles in certain peoples lives. We do not want to be alone like others and taking care of others need is somewhat our best role in life. Good luck with your new friendship. I hope there are more people like you..

Yes anex, and it gives us fulfillment every time we see someone smile because we did something which to them is a turning point.
There's a lot of people who share the same heart as mine..and your reaction does not exempt you. Being good is universal because the Holy Spirit resides in us. What's causing us diversion from doing good is our choice, but we are far powerful to right a wrong choice.Still, we humans are subject to corruption because we are in this 'world'. Let's be firm..
Thanks anex!

hello,
What you said its absolutely correct. We never realise what other people expect from us. We most of the time just think of us. We should always think of those persons whose life is connected with our life. If iun any way we can make them happy, we should always do it. We need to think of the society and how we can make it a better place to live in. Everyone can play an important role in other's life, we just need to see it clearly and understand how important we are to them. Then only we can be helpful to others. We need to be totally selfless.

ah yes. It's comforting to bump into someone who has the same belief as yours. It gives strength and it inspires.
Nice akash!

My friend is a physician. She has been working in the hospital for 8 years. In her first year of practice, she would tell us how weak she is to be in a profession where she wanted to give what her patient asks but couldn't. After 8 years, she's still crying when she shares about losing a patient.
How many of us are really concerned with a stranger..?
