I miss being a student

Most students wanted to graduate and earn money. But for me, I miss being a student. Being part of the workforce can be so stressful and although you are earning something, the joys and downs of being a student surely made a mark in my heart. If I were to choose, I would like to remain a student. You only have exams to worry about and nothing else and you have your classmates and friends to enjoy with.

Same here, I also missed being a student. Although working person is another chapter of life and it is really needed to sustain life, I want to go to school again. But this time, I want to study culinary studies and not chemistry anymore. hehehe

That's completely normal you see, when you grow up you'll say "Oh I miss being a kid" and when you moved out of your childhood home you'll go "Oh I miss my home". It's just a cycle in life that we all have to go through. So if you can help it, don't miss it. There's so much to miss when you move to another stage.

I work as a part-time instructor for our local university and this is exactly what I get from those who are in school and those who graduate. In all my years teaching, I have never heard a graduate saying that they didn't miss school at all. I guess we fail to see how fun school is because of the homeworks and things we need to do while we were a student. But once education is done, we always see the beauty of it thus we'd like to go back. Anyhow, you could always go back to school. You can take your Masters and Doctorate Degrees. Of course, it would be a different thing, but one thing is for sure, those memories would always be there. I guess I miss school too, but I never miss the homework! hahaha.. Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

Hello! I miss being a student as well! The exam stress and our problems as students are so small comparing to the ones that we have to face in the real world after we finish our studies! I wish I could go back and be a student again!!

Yes it's funny but many times I dream about being in school again. There certainly was some fun element about school, and it was nice to get to see other people automatically. When you're grown, you never see other people unless you specifically arrange some kind of get-together or call them up and make them come over; it's no longer automatic like it was in school. However, I do remember I also got extremely tired of the routine of school, especially having to get up early. That part was a bit heavy on me. I hated being tired all the time. But there was the fun times about school too.

This is actually a nice post. I never thought anyone would miss being a student. I am currently at my senior year and I am so excited to graduate. I really am! But your post made me think about it. Maybe I will miss being a student. Student life is so carefree. You only care about exams, your professors, your grades, what to wear tomorrow and the people around you. But that is about it. You do not have to worry about providing food to the table and the like. Nearing my graduation, I do feel like I am going to miss all the fun times of student life. If you really miss it, why not go back to school? If you can masters or graduate studies. Maybe that is the right path for your life :) Think about it.
