Have you ever worked at McDonalds and if so what was your experience there? I worked at one for five years while I was in college and I loved it!!! I made some very good friends in my time there.

I have had a lot of friends that have worked there and they loved it too. I have a friend who is 27 and has worked there 10 years now!! She loves it. She says the same things you do

It was a pretty neat job. I actually met my ex-husband there. He was the store manager and he made a lot of money. Thanks for your comment.

Yes, it was a hard job for very little pay. Then there were some people who would just stand around and let the hard workers pick up their slack. I guess you have that anywhere you work, though. I loved it. I was very close to a lot of the people that I worked with there...brings back memories.

Yep when my kids finally started full time school i had been out of work for 10 years not to many ppl want to hire you then. Mcd's offered me full time work so i thought why not. I worked there for almost 5 years and was a team leader before i left. I had hoped to get a managers job but i found out i was preggo with my youngest and she was just more important than working so when i was almost 8 months preggo i went on leave and still have not gone back. We have moved and live in a small town and they are talking about opening one just up the street if this happens i will apply. I still have college to pay for so i will need the money.

No, I worked at Dairy Queen when I was in high school. I liked working there.

I never worked there, but my husband did in high school and he still talks about what a great system McD has. A lady who supervised him 20+ years ago is still working for the company and she is one of the most polished professionals I've ever seen, even in her McD uniform. I think that McDonalds gets a bum rap sometimes, both in terms of the food (which I love, much to my waistline's regret) and in terms of potential career opportunities.

I used to work at McDonalds. I worked for one in 1997 and 1998 for about six months. I liked most of the co-workers there, but didn't care much for the costumers.
