The Amazing Spider Man

From what I've heard, the The Amazing Spider Man is garnering excellent reviews. From what has been expressed, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are knocking out of the ballpark.
I want to know if this movie is really worth seeing? Have you seen it what do you think about the movie? Is it worth the dollars?

I just watched the movie last Sunday, with my husband. The graphics and effects were excellent, but the storyline is just too simple. I think because it was meant for kids to enjoy. I like the Avengers more.

I've seen several previews of the movie; now, I am interested because the previews hint out or say that there is back story to Peter Park--concerning his parents. I don't know much about his parents or why they haven't been in the scene concerning his growing up. Yet, I would really like to find that out. I also would like to see Andrew Garfield. I think that he's a fine upcoming actor. I think that I may have to go one Sunday morning to get the matinée discount ticket to watch it.

I actually missed the first 5-10 minutes of the movie because we got in late, and we didn't review the movie anymore because it was also getting late. Im not sure if it really told much about his parents besides knowing who his father was -- who, unfortunately became the villain.
