Watching TV is my thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to watch tv when I got home from work while mylotting.

The same as you, I love watching TV so much. Especially compared with the computer, watching TV is much better for me, I have much time to do any other things and have rest when watching TV.

I have always been a big television watcher myself. When I was younger i used to plan things around my favorite programs. There was always something entertaining and informative to watch. I can remember one summer weekend when my father wanted to take the family on a weekend camping trip. i threw a fit to stay home because there was something i wanted to watch. it seems so silly now, but television watching has always been a big part of my lie. there are other things that i like to do as weel, but telelvision was there first.

you are so right...TV can be a learning experience..however I like a lot of comedy,,silly stuff really makes my day.. every now and then I get into the serious stuff..what i do like ts the discovery channel with the animals...I find those shows really amazing....

I too enjoy watching TV but I try my best to stray away from it because I watch it casually. I rarely learn from the channels I watch on TV because a majority of them are comedy and I watch a lot of extreme TV too. Those shows tell you specifically not to attempt anything they do so although I can learn, I try my best not to show what I've learned. When I watch TV, I am lazy and eating food as well so its not a very productive act. This is why I'm here on myLot, so I can avoid any TV action!

Yes, the television can be something that is very educational. There are a lot of educational channels nowadays. these channels would include the knowledge channel, discovery channel and of course, national geographic. I like watching national geographic the most. Their shows are pretty interesting and some are controversial. Like you, i like watching tv.

I am the total opposite. I have lived without using my TV for the past couple of years. In fact, I already boxed my TV and was able to use it again when I got married. I have noticed that most people would turn on the TV once they arrived from work or schools. But really I don't do that. I usually make a cup of coffee and would go straight to my room to turn on my computer and that is where I usually spend most of my time. But my husband and my inlaws are certified TV addict :D They usually spend the whole weekends just watching TV and movies. I would always hear them complaining that they have not gotten enough sleep because it was already morning when they finally decided to stopped watching. You are right that we can learn a lot from watching TV programs. But definitely, not everything we could learn from it would be benificial and appropriate for us. There is a need for proper parental guidance especially for young kids.

I dont watch a whole lot of t.v but, i been watching this show on netflick it is really good. its called bones. You can learn some things from that show.

I love watching TV especially TV series from the 90s hit Charmed up to the latest hit of this season which is Revenge. Good quality shows are really entertaining and I really enjoy every minute of it. I even track their ratings to see if the show will last long or just passed the first season. And yes there's a lot of knowledge you can get watching TV with all the information surrounding a show, You can learn even a simple vocabulary just to enhance your english especially for non-native english speakers
