when it comes to macro there are few thing that you should keep in mind.
1. focus - the more you get closer to your subject the thinner the depth of field so you need to narrow the f/stop, meaning higher f number like f10-f22 to keep every thing clear and sharp.
2. light - if you narrow the f/stop the image will be darker. so you need a light. a flash could be a good source for light. you can use your own built-in flash if you have one. just use something that can help you bounce the light to your subject.
3. tripod - if you don't have a light you can use a tripod. you just need to adjust the shutter speed like 1/20 or to 1 second. anything that is below 1/80 sec will be blurry so you need a trusty tripod and a trigger to keep a clear image. but if you don't have a trigger you can use the self- timer of your camera.

The macro has a very shallow field-of-depth so moving just a wee bit will cause the picture to be out of focus.
You can try a longer shutter time, but then it is easier to get more camera shake. You could try a tripod if you have one, or making sure you rest your elbows on something. You could also experient with the manual focus, sometimes it is actually easier to get macro shots with manual than automatic focus.

Your best bet is using a tripod. Blur comes from camera shake. You can also set a timer in your camera so you don't shake the camera when you press the shutter.
