Did you sleep last night?

Okay, do not get me wrong. I am not REALLY asking if you slept last night or not. I just wanted to know if you have the tendency to sleep during the daytime if you were not able sleep the night before. What if you are at work? Would you steal some time to take a nap? Or maybe, you do not sleep during the daytime but you would surely hit the bed even before you get into your sleepwear in the evening. That is how I am sometimes. I can get through the day even without much sleep the night before. But for sure, I would sleep early and on extended hours the moment I get home in the evening.

During the work week I get to bed no later than 11:30 pm as I got to get up at 4 am and catch the first train at 5 am . I sleep on one of the trains commuting to work for almost 2 hours so that refreshes me and enables me to function well at work for the 6 to 7 hours I spend there. Only got to be aware on Sundays. I avoid naps over day time like the plague as if I take a nap then I wont be able to sleep at night. This Sunday was an exception. I was online most of the day so I felt tired around 7 pm and had a nap of 2 hours, got up, had dinner and am sitting here again. I have today, Monday, off work and its 1:30 am and I am wide awake.

Yes, if Im really that tired I would have a little nap, sometimes Im just so tired I cant keep my eyes open or concentrate. I use to work midnights, so I slept most of the day so I dont have an issue sleeping during the day. But I try to avoid taking naps or else you get in the habit of napping.

Yes,I had a sound sleep last night.In fact,I have been having sound sleep for the last few days,perhaps because I get too much tired due to work at daytime.I never tend to sleep in the daytime.Even if I try to take a nap in the daytime,I would end up keeping awake.But if I have not had a good sleep at night,I would like to sleep in the daytime the next day.

I can rarely sleep in the daytime, even when I'm tired. I'm just calibrated that way. I sleep almost every night... there are times when I have a hard test at university or something like that, I'd rather study all time and miss a night... and I can get away with that, it doesn't really do anything bad for my health. But I don't do it regularly, just 2 or 3 times a year, though.

Yes,this is my vacation so I usually sleep close to midnight and wake up only at noon.There is nothing much to do than sleeping.Only if I become too sick,I change my routine and go to bed early.

I barley slept last night, since my kid was sick so I hold him all night as he slept & cried in my arms. So now I really want to go to sleep, but I can't - too much work. In addition, I know my day will also end late today, so no early sleeping tonight. I days like that I live of sugar (mostly chocolate), Adrenaline & coffee (which I don't like, but is very efficient).

Last night we went to bed too early because of temporary black out in our place. I cannot sleep well due to hot temperature. Electricity returned back late night already. Since I got enough sleep, I woke up early at around 3:30am. I surf the net and participate discussions here. Sometimes, when I go to bed too early, and once I wake up at around 3am, I cannot get sleep anymore. I did not feel sleepy in the office too.

I am like that too. If I slept late at night and woke up really early, I might get sleepy at work. Taking a nap is not possible so maybe I'll rest my head on the desk for a while, but by evening I am so bushed I can hardly stand or move. I do not even want to talk. I just want to get into my bed and cover up the lack of sleep. Sometimes if I don't sleep well for two-three days, I will just get enough sleep to cover the lost hours, like it is an account and the sleep is accumulating until I go to sleep and cover it up. I don't do it on purpose, but it just happens.
