I lost my pet

A few days ago I lost my pet. It was a beautiful cat . I walked all over in search of him but i couldn't find him.
I wonder whether he was swallowed by the monitor crawling about in the garden . I cant bear up my mind to loose such a god friend who always sits by me licking my legs when I'm at home . I hope time will help me to overcome the sorrow brought to me by his loss.

I live in a rural area where Coyotes are common and when a cat goes missing here they are usually gone for good ... but do not despair ... Cats often leave for weeks at a time but come back later. The best thing is to 1)Not give up hope 2)Think of your cat daily and call out to him in your mind and outside each day. Animals will often respond to your mental thoughts. When I let my dog out and he does not come back right away I think of him and then I go to the kitchen and I grab a treat for him and he ALWAYS seems to come back right then, so I give him the snack.
Your cat will come back and when he does be sure to have some "treats" for him, so that he will never want to leave home again.

Sorry when I hear about that...I hope he will back home soon with you ! Maybe he just come to someplace for playing, dont worry so much ! Cat is different from dogs, dog always comeback home in a day, but cat maybe will comeback home 2 or 3 days later...

Oh sorry to heat that...I experienced the same feeling you know, that was way back 5 years ago...I lost my pet, well not a pet cat but a puppy. :-) I named him "lucky" for it was my first pet...but the experience I had was opposite to its name. Lol. At first it was so hard to accept the fact that he's not around anymore, but later on the pain and regret just vanished when another puppy came. :-)

I had my new puppy for about three days when I took him with me on a job. He wandered off and I called and waited for hours and then went home but I could not just forget about him so I made up a flier on my computer and I took it to the neighborhood where I lost him and I put one on EVERY house and before I was done, I got a call and sure enough there was my puppy. He had seen some kids, and he LOVES kids, so he went to play with them and lost rack of time. The mother was so nice and I could tell her kids loved Xanth but they could not even feed him so I'm glad I found him when I did.
Glad you found another puppy. I'm sure Lucky found another home and is being loved and taken care of by his new found family.
Always be good to your puppy and treat him like another person. They read our minds so never harbor any bad thoughts towards him. Take him with you whenever you can and include him in all your plans, when you can. And NEVER leave him in a car alone when it is hot outside.

Hi friend, sad to hear about this, it is really hard to miss our beloved pets, surely it will give more pain to you, your topic clearly shows about your pains due to this incident. Don't worry, surely you will find your pet soon and enjoy a lot with it like before.
