Should Candidates be allowed SOME privacy?

House Democrats are now filming the homes of their political counterparts and posting them on youtube. They are filming their homes and grounds. This would worry me. These candidates have families at home not to mention the unsuspecting neighbors. There are way too many wackos out there.

Democrats claim they see nothing wrong with this. What do you think?

Yes, most definitly. I'm sure we all can think of things that we have don't that we didn't want anyone to film, even if they were perfectly legal and didn't have any influence on how we do our jobs.
And as you say, the neighbours are not campaigning and probably didn't pick that house just to live next door to someone who's campaigning.
Is filming it and putting it on youtube without asking permission of the ones in the film even legal? Sounds dodgy to me.
I don't envy you all the stuff you seem to get about politicians private life. There were elections every semester I studied in Austria, they're a bit more focused on persons and what they've done than we are in Norway (or were, it's getting worse) and it drove me crazy.

@torunn, I use youtube to listen to music and also to listen to speeches and videos of news programs.

No, not really. They probably have some idea that if they have nothing to hide, then what's the problem? But then it is also quite pointless.
But most of youtube is quite pointless to me. There's some good stuff (for example some very good wave simulations I used in the physics class last year) but a lot of it is really very stupid.

Democrats see nothing wrong with installing an illegal alien (042-68-4425 SS# which will not pass E-verify), Muslim jihadist in the WH ILLEGALLY, UNCONSTITUTIONALLY.
THAT'S TREASON.
Democrats see nothing wrong with hiding rather doing their sworn Constitutional duty re voting in WI concerning Scott Walker's reasonable decision to limit wrongful union power and protect citizens.

I see everything wrong with Democrats.
Democrats see something wrong with everything that's right, and something "right" about everything that's wrong.
As a whole, are pathetic, lame-brained, moronic liberals, devoid of morality.

They should be, but sadly politics has gotten a lot uglier when children became fair game in 2008. The standards we used to have with leaving children and families of politicians ended when the left began a crusade to destroy Sarah Palin. Do you remember that scumbag who even rented the house next to her to spy on her family for his book? I remember when protesters were even going to the homes of bank execs and terrorizing their children.

I agree, I think everyone deserves privacy at home regardless of their profession. It has always bothered me that celebrities get very little privacy and the papparazzi are always stalking them. They are people just like us, and posting their pictures, especially pictures of their children all over the web and on the covers of every magazine in stores is only inviting trouble in.

And these people stand in judgement of the Tea Party and conservative talk show hosts?
