I need a chair!

I sit in the den sometimes to watch t.v. and there are only two places to sit in their. Either the new dinkins bench, or a chair that was once part of a rocker / middle thing duo. It's falling apart. I've been looking on amazon to see about a chair that I could get, half atleast with the money I earn from mturk. I've seen some cheap ones, which is what I want. Something bean baggish and comfy, nothing that expensive or heavy. I know that places around here sale bean bags and the such, and I may go with one of those instead. I still want to know what's out there and found some nice chairs.
I also just thought about a "bucket chair" aka papasoan chair. I just know we need something better / else to sit on. Something Kid proof or cheap enough where if it breaks, I won't blow a gasket!
The possibilities!
Anyone else looking for furniture?

there second hand shops in my neighborhood. there i can find some things and furnitures that are still good and usable. at times, we do not need new stuffs to furnish our place. we just need fixtures that can make us call a place home. there is also an option of seeking used furnitures from my friends and relatives. that is an option that makes me save some money.

I've thought of going to good will but I would have to have an uncle or someone with a truck to go up there with me one day and buy it then and there etc... They do hold furniture but it could be weeks before I'd get someone to go get it for me... lol.
We have big trash days where anywhere from toilets to tv's are set at the curb. I joked with a family member that we should go through the neighborhood looking for a couch!

When I need something like that and really don't want to spend money I look on craigslist and on freecycle to see if some one has one they want to give away. Most times people are willing to give you their old furniture if you come and carry it away. Freecycle is great for that cause its people that don't want to take it to the dump if some one else can use it. I have gotten several nice chairs and a couch off freecycle and I love it. The best part is that some times you can even offer to pay for the cost of gas and have them deliver it for you. Some people are really nice when it comes to things like that. I would save my money and look for something that some one is wanting to get rid of that way you are helping keep things out of the local landfill and saving your self some money.

There is the link to freecycle all you need to do is tell them where your at and they will put you in contact with a group that is local to you. Good luck on getting a new chair I hope you find one for free

I know about these sites and wish I could use them. I'd have to have someone come and get me, then go with me to the placee where the chair or couch is. As even if they would deliver it, the problem there is the house is too much of a mess, not presentable for anyone to go into.. I'm slowly trying to remedy that though.

I have too much furniture in my house right now, as my son is living with me. It will be a year or more, but I will be looking for a new comfy sofa. I like glider rockers, and have a double one. I have chairs to re cover and the fabric to do it.

I love glider rockers myself. I wish I had the money to go and get myself a piece of furniture, but honestly I don't want to get anything that I'd have to move. I don't know when I will be able to move but I don't want something so heavy that would be difficult to move as usually when I do move it's a quick "I didn't know I was moving yesterday" type thing.
I mean literally!
Good luck with a new comfy sofa. Ideally I'd love a sectional!
