Well, I can understand you perfectly! Even in the past when I was hit by the flu, only sleeping was a problem. I remember I could not even move in bed, or I was arriving a headache unbearable. I also tried to put more pillows in order to take a more comfortable position. Often this was in vain. Now (and let's face slowly) are now several years since I'm more struck by the flu. However the memories of that question, I have very many. As a childit took it at least once a year!

Its best to take decongestant pills or inhale steam to open your airway, also to make your self feel warm and to avoid cold environment

Inhale steam into airway? you mean like putting a cup of boiled water below nose, and let the hot steam into your nose? this is the first time i heard of this. Thanks! I will definitely try this the next time i have flu.

I always thought it is easily to sleep with you are having flu. Since mucus is the problem, have you tried sleeping on your side?

Well, although lately I is no longer happening, do not hide the fact that there were periods in the past and spent whole nights without sleep, or rather, I could not sleep. It does not matter if I used one or more pillows! What a trouble, then get up the morning! I often wake up at noon. As I said though, when fortunately I can sleep well at night now.

Yup, can't sleep just because of flu, I think I'm the lamest person in world. Fortunately i get to sleep around 5 a.m. that day, and get some sleep for a couple of hours. Later I spent the whole morning with my little brother ( who is the source of flu virus, since he got sick first) in bed with breads and story books. Now I'm okay already. thanks for sharing.

It is not easy to sleep when we are not feeling well. I hope you are doing well now. Every time you have something feeling bad, you should prepare always your medicine and take it. Is it is normal you can't sleep while feeling bad since your body is not in a good condition.

Don't be lazy. Stop being lazy because it will not do any good to us. It will just destroy our way of life. Be a good person. Thanks too and take care always of your health!

Drink plenty of water. It will help you keep hydrated. The flu can cause a loss of appetite, but patients often find warm, salty both agreeable. If you are not eating much, juices are a good choice.Because they provide you nutrients which you are missing. I think this will be better option to you.because at 2 am you wont find any medicals. So drink plenty of water.
