Many now a days uses computers daily, young, middle age and adults are using it for their work, or just internet surfing. Once you are in front of the computer, one uses its eyes for sure, but does every one knows what is its effect? The outcome of the eyes to every user, for the daily looking at its screen and the colors that it appears on the monitor. Has every one imagine what causes the early use of eye glasses to young students now a days. Is it the cause of using computers?

We should give relax to our eyes. Eat vegetables like carrot then our eyes will not get affected. Do any one of the Eye exercise it will be good for eye sight.

Not only is this bad for your eyesight as I know someone who actually lost her sight for two days due to eyestrain but it's bad for your overall health because of lack of exercise in general. Well, at least people know one good career to go into in college in the future, Opthamologist's ha ha. Not to mention medicine in general. There are going to be a lot of sick people due to computers but hey, they'll have that P.T.C. check or my lot check whoo hoo!

Of course computer is good for your eyes if you know the right websites to surf, if you begin to make use of your brain God given to you at the same time using your computer, stop stare at the computer 24/7, log off the computer when your eyes feel tire, treat your eyes with love and tender care, then everything will be fine for you. It is not because of a monitor that a student wear glasses, it is because of him/her fail to take good care of his own eye sight and refuse to use his brain when go online or offline.

The radiation that comes from the computer screen is really unhealthy not just for our eyes but for our body too. Anyway, they said flat screen monitors have lesser radiation than the old bulky computer monitors. Anyhow, we should really about looking at the screen for too long.

i had no computer when i was a kid but I already needed glasses by 10. I think it has something to do with your genes and as well as your reading and watching conditions. just ensure proper lighting so that your eyes wont get damaged

Not only computer but tv also can harm ones eyes. Some people sit very close to the TV and watch. mostly kids when they are watching cartoons, playing video games etc. It is important to maintain distance from TV to avoid harm to eyes, take breaks when playing games. Same way for computers, some people put their face so close to the computer screens as if they want to get inside the screen. hello duh! maintain distance. don't allowa your kids to use computer for long. Take breaks when using computers. Some people can sit whole day without moving, this is very bad.

Staring at a computer screen for long periods of time can keep someone from blinking as often as they should, which can cause chronic problems with vision... worst case scenario being blindness. I don't know if there's a trend in students needing glasses at an earlier age, but if there is then I bet computers are a likely place to put the blame. Staring at screens isn't good for us. Though, staring at the page of a book doesn't have the same effect on the eyes.
