I have done a few tasks here and to my understanding have completed them according to the directions. I just wrote one and it was rejected with no explanation as to why it was rejected. I took 45 minutes on that task. I feel like the person just took my entry and submitted it as their own and just made up that they would give you .20. I am pretty mad right now. Then there was this other one that I only had to like a page on FB and post a comment. I didnt get a payment for that one either. And on top of it, it said t was excepted!!!! Any advice to these problems that I have run into on mylot tasks?
Thanks,
~C~

First of all, you should be wary of who you get your tasks from. Normally, it will take less than 12 hours for them to respond and pay you. If they take more than the usual to pay, you should give out a red light.
I write for a living. But I don't do writing tasks here in MyLot. The pay are really not worth it. 0.10USD for a 300-word article? Hello?! our normal range for that is 1USD.
As for the facebook comment or Like, I can suggest that if they don't pay... then Unlike! hahaha. makes sense.

The pay is ridiculous. But so many writing sites are. I will not be doing any more of the tasks. Should I report them for not explaining or is it a waste of time.

I did read the description of the tasks, one did sent me a response as to why. However I still didnt agree, but oh well. I did get the other 3 they were just late getting the approval through. Those ones were worth my time so I didnt mind spending the time. The other one I was annoyed and thinking that they were just fishing for articles. So with that one I have decided that if I am to write on any article it will be my own!

You can ask the task maker why there was no explanation with regards to your rejection. But sometimes, they already wrote it down in the task description. So you should reread the instructions before sending the person a message. If he or she wont respond, report the incident and the person to mylot admin.

I've only had two occasion, fortunately, when they didn't pay me for a correctly done work. One of them flat out lied that he can't see the shared post on my fb wall, when it WAS there (ofc I deleted it after he didn't pay), and it was public. The other one I didn't, because it was a rafflecopter giveaeay entry, and that damn rafflecopter didn't recognize my e-mail address.
Oh, and about the commenting tasks, sometimes the comments are on hold, and you can't copy the link after the answer, or you can, but that's not going to serve as proof... that makes me angry a bit.

I am agreeing with you on regards to the bogus denials! I feel like they stole my article just for them on another site. I did one with a FB post and was approved for the task but was not paid for it. I just am going to be really leary on whats being offered for these tasks. My time on here is my time and I am not giving it to others so that they can make money on me that they dont share.

My opinion is that if you wish to earn money from doing tasks, you can opt other sites like minuteworkers, microworkers, amazon mechanical turk etc. These are the best sites to earn from finishing some simple tasks. In minute workers you can easily earn 0.20$ just for signing up in a site and activating your account. It will take only 5 minutes to do so. So you can earn a good amount within an hour. So don't go for mylot tasks.
