I just got sent a link, join here and all you have to invest is this amount... Um the last time I checked if I need a job apparently I don't have money to invest in ANYTHING! Exactly like the title says, I work to get paid, I don't pay to work! Anyone agree here?

true to that. i never understood why i would want to spend money online to make money. the only way that i'll spend money on an online site is if i've been paid by that site. i'll up grade my account just so that i can make more off a site. other then that i generaly dont invest money online.

the sad thing is that there are alot of people like that out there. some time if it sounds to good to be true the most of the time it is. before joining or paying for anything online i do some research to make sure that its ligite. i think that the ones most people fall for are the ones that say they've been featured in on news stations and other things when the truth is it hasn't.

I never understood it either. I guess they think some crazy person will fall for their scams. Not me, I am not stupid! Right, if your already working for that site and you want to make more with them I understand that. But not just starting on that site! I got the link sent to me from someone here...

I agree with you. We find jobs to get paid. So we should be wary of jobs that will make us pay just to be able to work. That's odd. We only got to have that scheme when it's a business opportunity.

We do find jobs to get paid. That is the whole point of working! Yes we should stay away these scams.

I always have a motto that goes something like, "I work to be able to have the money i could spend to enjoy life. But if working will cost me money, what's the point of working, eh?"

Hi, I got a similar message as you and I think it came from the same user.I would never invest a penny anywhere. All legit sites are free to sign up. By the way do you sign up on links sent by friends here? Then I would send you a link too!

With the economy being the way that it has been through the last several years, there have been a lot of scam artists that have come into play trying to capitalize on the bad luck that other people have had. This does mean that a lot of people are trying to get individuals that are down on their luck to pay for work that really doesn't exist. So, I do have to say that I definitely do agree with you that a person should never have to pay in order to find work.

There have been too many people trying to get over on others. It is horrible that they can take advantage of other people that way. I would never pay for anything like that...

I came across a program like that online - something about REAL translator jobs. They require some fee for you to find translator jobs. WTF. Ridiculous. I found a translator job in oDesk early this year and I did not even pay them anything, they paid me when I got the English-Spanish translation work done.

Absolutely correct that we shouldn't invest money from our pocket to get paid .But me a person who tries everything and don't miss any opportunities .For the last four years i m in online and earned some good amount and from that if i invest some 5% ,i feel its ok because after a year and half ,i took that decision.Actually its up to us how we can handle the situation.

I hate those sites like that. I get those emails all the time. I stay with my favorite social network and here in MyLot. I like these sites, they are legit and they do pay. All those investing sites to me are nothing but scams anyway.

Hi friend, I FULLY agree with you, i too get this kind of links with one time investment. But i am not interested with it. A lot of free sites are available for our online earnings, then why we are in need to invest our money with a site to earn from it? I don't have faith with this kind of investment sites

I am not interested in it either. I have never had anyone spam me before on here. This was the first time! Exactly, we can earn for free right here. Why would I bother investing?

I agree with you. However, this doesn't sound like a job, it sound like an investment opportunity(not a good one. Yet...). Like in the bank / stock market - sometimes you need to invest money in order to earn money. However, I will only invest in legit places!

It was some survey site thing which I don't do anyway. I darn sure would not pay for it! I have no money to invest so I feel bad that they spammed me with it of all people.

yup that also my point... I want to work for pay not to pay before work. I found it difficult to search sites that makes money for work.

This sounds like one of those internet "Work on line" scams. I would not invest in it and any others you come across.

There are people who are good at these money investing things, but first of all, if somebody needs a job really badly it means that they are struggling with managing the money... how in the earth would they have money to invest? Secondly, people who are not the cutthroat, "can-talk-an-eskimo-into-buying-ice" type, just won't profit from this, just provide money for the gurus... I hate these kinds of things. And when I tell them no, they flip out at me...
