I often think of this. Everybody loves a winner. Is it or it is not always? Everybody loves a winner in every sense of the word - rich, powerful person. Would that also follow - everybody hates a loser? Any thoughts?

Well, a loser does have a negative conotation. I think that people who are friendly and nice are the ones for me. Whether loser or winners. Rich and powerful doesn't always mean the best of the crop. It quite often means mean and ruthless. So I would pick on a individual basis.

I got your point. We treat and see people on how they appeal to us or relate to us and not on who's or whats. Thanks

Every man has two sides: the winner and loser! Simple! If you are the winner ... not too much to say ... than "Keep up the good work." When you lose is more difficult! It is important to note that a failure can find positive things and mistakes can help to redress future so you do not have the opportunity to put the book to defeat a new "success".

you are a winner when you do your best in life for whom you are. you don't necessarily have to be rich or powerful. a loser is when things don't go right in our lives. we lose. we have losses. life has ups and downs. we shouldn't base others on winning and losing. a good sport loses. a good sport wins.

hello, yeah you are absolutely correct. Everbody do loves a winner. They always want you to be a winner. They think that only a winner has the right to live in this world. There is no place for a loser in this world. You have to be winner. Ther is no other choice to you. But this is very bad. Everyone cant be a winner. Someone has to be a loser. and they hate the losers. They are always mean to losers. Its totally sick but it is the naked truth of our society. And we all know that and we have to live with it. No other options.

You are right. We need to deal with it every day and for the rest of our lives. We only need to work had and never regret that we should have done something on our goals and aspirations. Thanks

Just as you say, people want to be winners and they love winners. But I don't think losers are bad and are not worth loving. As an old saying goes: failure is the mother of success. From failure, people could learn more and do better than before.

yes, everybody wants to be the winner. nobody wants to be a loser. this is a competitive world. we all want to be the winner because it is in our nature to be not contented with what we have; we always want the best or better than the best. I am praying though that there would come a time that the world will have its own contentment and happiness.

Not always... Some people that are rich and powerful can be the meanest most selfish people in the world. I like people that are nice, honest and trustworthy. Whether they are rich poor, black white, geeky or hot it doesn't matter to me

I don't know that that's true. I think many people are envious of winners and many others don't care one way or the other. And then there are those who are always for the "underdog." They pity them or something and always root for them.

I'm. for one, envious to some who are successful in their respective careers. Envious if couple with positive actions can bring positive results. Thanks

I guess it's all a matter of perspective. I definitely wouldn't like to be sorrounded by the "rich and famous" as long as they are fake people. so I would definitely prefer a "loser" as long as he's a loyal friend

How do you define winner? How do you define loser? I don't feel that I hate anyone. I also don't put successful or winning people on pedestals. Winner or loser; They're just labels.

These are stereotypes I believe. And it depends on how we define those words. Thanks

I wouldn't think so. First of all, everybody is a winner, just in other senses of the word. For example, I don't care about money and political, economical, society etc. power... but when someone wins a sports event or a quiz show or even my heart :D, I look up to them. About losers... it all depends on their attitudes. If they can't see their limits, if they are conceited, if they can't lose gracefully, they aren't gonna be liked by lots of people. But if they keep on fighting and don't give up and flip out ony someone after a failure, I don't think they are to be hated.

I got your point there. Everybody is a winner, it only depends on how we handle things, we are all created with the abilities to move forward. If a person do his best but failed to achieve something, I believe he is not a loser. Thanks

Hi friend, most of the people likes the winner and no one cares about the loser, so only all the competitors try their maximum to win in the competition. But we must encourage the losers, since they are depressed with their failure, we must give some energy to them. If they get the motivation, encouragement and learned from their experience to rectify their fault, surely they will achieve a lot than winners
