I made a big mess in the car

This morning while I was driving to work, I got a cup of coffee along with me. After I took a couple of sips from that cup, I intended to place it back to the coffee holder, but I was driving, and I have to keep my eyes on the road; I guess the position wasn't right, the cup was tilted, and the hot coffee was spill all over the passenger seat. I realized a big mess I just made and it was hot. I can't just clean it up while I am driving. So, I have to wait until I arrived at my work place, and get some paper towel to clean the mess up. How clumsy I was, and I told myself that I should be more careful. It was the third time on the next 2 months I made a mess in my car.

Those cup holders look closer or farther away sometimes! They honestly need to make them a little closer to the driver and higher up then they do. The cars who have the cupholders in the middle instead of right below the radio.. those are alright but not exactly the easiest either. Get a bottle of Kids n pets from kmart and keep it in the car with you, it helps get stains out fast.

I just have to clean it up tonight, and hopefully those stain will go away. Once again, that is the mess I made. Thanks for the tips.

Things like that happen. Just move on and learn from it. Clumsy? not really. It was an accident.

You might have made a mess in your car, but it was lucky that no one was sitting in the passenger seat. My husband once did the same thing and I was sitting next to him so he spilled the coffee on me The hot coffee burned my skin and I had to cover my shirt the rest of day because it was full of coffee stains, but of course he didn't do it on purpose, it was simply an accident. We still drink coffee in the car, but we are more careful know and my husband only drinks coffee while we are waiting in line and not while he is driving.

oh, how poor you are... you should more careful in next time... i think small thing in the road can turn into a big problem. we need full concentration while driving on the road, or we will make big mess for ourselves or other too. so be carefull while driving

Well king don't be so hard on yourself...it was an accideny. you should however count your blessings that there was no one sitting in the passenger seat...Your post would have been going in another direction...Maybe you need to wait until you reach your job to have coffee...and not while driving....I am just saying....

Yikes. that had to be painful since your coffee is hot. I had an experience like this before. It wasnt a cup of coffee though. It was a cake that I got for my mother. It was my mother's birthday so I got a cake from the bake shop and placed it at the back seat of my car. I was just driving when the car in front of me suddenly stopped. I stopped too so that I would not hit the car in front of me. Guess what happened when i stopped! the cake flew to the front seat since I stopped so suddenly. I was so disappointed and angry that the cake just got ruined.

You have to be more careful... and let me get that correct... you were drinking coffee WHILE driving a car? If so, don't do it. It may be comfortable, but these things are bound to happen... also, anything can happen on the road, and if you don't pay attention properly, you could cause a huge problem not only for yourself buit for other drivers, too.
