Just this time, i am glad my kids do not have any class. it was their school's foundation day and a celebration will be done till monday, the last day will be the school president's Investiture... So for today, i did not wake up at 5am! yipee! I let myself wake up a bit late, woke up around 6:30 in the morning. The kids also slept late, i woke up and made their breakfast while all of them were still asleep. The kids were also sleeping when we left for work. We left the care with the nanny. Just glad i was able to get some extra sleep.

It seems that we are sharing the same university so like your kids, I got extra time sleeping today. I actually wasn't sure if the college department also had no class but I just assumed it so I didn't bother rising up until 2 in the afternoon. I did wake up a while ago but went back to sleep several minutes later. I just felt so tired since I didn't have my sleep the previous night, and I think that I would have not been able to rise up even if I wanted to.

I really hope there was no class. I asked one of my classmates thru text messaging and he told me that he didn't attend either. I didn't feel good though because I am still not sure whether there was class or none. So basically, your children and I are schoolmates, eh?

1hr 30mins - you call that duration as extra sleep Look at me, I sleep for 15+ hours these days and I dont ever feel that this is sufficient The medications are making me soooo lazy, but the good thing is that I would have these medications finished by 20th of this month.... and then I would be back to the insomniac me

Happy for you. Though my son is not yet in school, we still managed to wake up later now because his nanny used to cook our breakfasat and our lunch. We just posted the menu at the fridge and she will do it already. Same in the dinner, when we got home, she already cooked our dinner. Again, I am glad that you managed to have extended sleep.

I was sick with some kind of 24 hour flue and slept 13 hrs. Whew, glad its over. Now you can have the summer off because you wont have to wake them every morn so early.

Sleep has always been scarce stuff in all our fussy life. So it sometimes seems very valuable and tempting. We get only one holiday a week. And in that very day we all feel to move like a snail. There happens things like we willingly keep asleep and stick to bed and do have as if no plan for the day. But our lil son rises first and involves himself play on the floor. He keeps kinda buzzing around us and break our sleep. Kids mom is not so sleep sick and so far as she can do she leaves the bed and goes to kitchen and prepares breakfast for us all. I'll thank my wife for she has a habit to do all household works punctually and perfectly and have seen not any arrogance of her being a govt job holder as well.

Hi Kashi, we also get to have one day rest a week too, but we still make it a point to wake up early even on weekends as it is the time to do household chores..

Good to hear that you have a vacation even just a couple of days. Time for you to relax a bit and have more time to bond with your kids.

I think this would always be a wonderful change! Indeed I also appreciate it well when I can sleep a little bit more. I guess sleep is always a welcome thing to have. Most especially in the middle of the week! Hehehe.. Have a great Mylot experience. Hope we'll have more 'sleeping time'.

hi, actually parents usually the mother waking up early in the morning to prepare their kids to go to their school, and then they could only rest if their kids are gone,so when no schooling of course you dont need to wake up very early in the morning because they dont have studies.

I am glad to know that you have little days to relax yourself from all your works. I just used to wake up early in the morning to do my duties as well as my daily routines but I jut used to wake up little late on holidays which would relax me a lot.

Hi friend, good to know that your kids don't have any class and you have the ability to take extra rest. Most of the parents will get more enjoyment if their kids don't have school, because parents are get up early for their kids favor, to make them to get ready for the school. I know your feeling, i too have two little kids who are going to their kinder garden classes
