I've gone crazy about keeping my weight steady. At age 16 I was at 36" waistline weighing 72KG (I'm Asian so that was really big!!!) I literally am sharing pants with my mom and there was a time in when I received a medal from school, that it didnt fit in my head! So growing up It's a battle. Im just glad Im over it now - It's years and years of experimenting on my body. And believe me I learned one thing - losing weight is a habbit. Its not something you can achieve in an instant - at all! It takes a loooot of self assessment and love not only for yourself but for others. I think the love for my husband and my kid is the major breaking point for getting out of the bad habit of losing weight. Share your experience, tips, and advice for other women going through weight problems.

I have friends that have similar problem with you and have tried many types of diet exercises and meal plans. It will basically depend on you for it requires discipline and your metabolism. I do agree that losing weight is not only for your physical fitness but also for health awareness.

I think I have to add that I think it's also a culture (from where I am from) Like if you are not sexy then eooww why wear shorts? or if your arms are above ideal (ideal is skinny for most) then why wear sleeveless? But yes it should be more health concern rather than just looks. Ive gone through places wherein they didnt really care if you are heavy or light, what matters is you are comfortable with yourself. And if you are healthy then you should be comfy:) Anyone suffering from any bad eating habits should seek help!

I can relate... I've been on a yoyo diet since high school. I remember at grade four I have a 34 inch waistline (yikes). As an adult the smallest waist I've ever had is 26 inches and 110 lbs... And now that I'm in my 40's losing weight has becoming more and more difficult, now I make it a point to brisk-walk 3x a week and go jogging on Saturdays to maintain my weight, because it's not just about looking good anymore it's also about being healthy and strong (for myself and for your family). ^_^
