In our country, graduating from high school means that we have passed the college entrance examination and we don't need yo work so hard everyday. Many students choose to go travlling around the country,so I want to know what people living in other countries would do after graduating.

Yes, from what I gathered from some of those who went, working in Israel mostly includes working in a kibbutz, catching fish and such easily learned work.
Au pairing in Australia was also a very popular one, especially with the girls. This means you go live with a family and take care of their children, like a nanny.

Here in the Philippines, graduating from high school means starting to prepare yourself and stuff for college. Right before even graduation, colleges and universities will be sending out their acceptance letters to successful applicants. We only have 2 months after graduation to start the semester right after high school and that usually is spent attending grad balls, hunting for boarding houses or apartments near the university, and even checking out fastfood for job (most college students who want to work may do so in fastfood chains as they're the only ones who can give a flexible working sked for working students).
Those who have rich parents on the other hand start shopping for cars :)

We also have two months before go to colledge. But usually,it's a time for relax, because we have been competed under great pressure for college entrance exam(it's difficult to pass considering so many people in China). So most of us choose to travel to forget the unpleaure experience. There are paties after graduation, but no balls(unfortunately). As for boarding, every university provide apartment for student,we just need to pay for it.From your introduce,I can see students in your country are quite indepent, here,we hardly see colledge students driving cars!Affording the tuition is quite a problem for many families, besides, even if few famiies are rich, they won't allow their childern to drive cars.

Well, I see college students driving their own cars in two ways: most of the cars are bought by mommy or daddy so basically it's not really their own money, hence everything is still being provided by their folks and for me that's not independence. On the other hand, some of those actually assembled their own cars and even spent the whole 4 years of high school saving their allowance thinking ahead that when they go to college they wanna drive their own car even if it's just something from the second-hand car dealers.
Despite the different background we all have, graduating from school and making and sticking in college is something to commend on. It aint easy being in college, heck it's not easy getting an education. I know in some countries college isn't for everyone, but back here it is a must. If you wanna be able to get a pretty decent job then off to college you must go. It doesn't matter even if non-college graduate is way better than a degree holder in terms of performance; with a lot of people begging for jobs every year one thing the companies look out for is level of education. Once they see in your resume that you weren't able to finish college, you get booted from the running. That's their immediate way of qualifying thousands of applicants. Some companies do give chances, but still they're only a few of them.

We have two more years of school life after high school after which we proceed to colleges of respective discipline. Fortunately I had a good result and spent my initial days in fun eagerly waiting for results. I along with all my friends used to roam about all day having lots of fun. Also I feel fortunate that my parents have done enough to get me admitted into a very good but costly college.

In our country, for those who can afford to go to college they are blessed enough to continue their study and have a good job.But for those who cannot afford they are forced to search for a job that fits to their skill in order to help their family and support his or her needs. Just like what I have experienced after i graduated high school I took only 1 semester in college, because of financial problem I looked for a job,but after a few years i have given a chance to continue studying but with a different course. Now I have to finish it on my own money.

In our country, high school graduation is just another graduation because we have college to attend to after summer. Of course, it is a joyous occasion and mostly it is celebrated with a party. I remember my high school graduation, there was no celebration for me but I'm okay with that. Me and my friend just went to some of my classmates' celebration instead. We spent the night going houses to houses. College level is a bit different here. Every high school graduate can take college entrance test and there are many colleges to choose from. Our education system is being reformed right now to meet international standards, so unlike before getting into college would not be as easy as it was or so I heard.

What I can recall was, after high school graduation, I have a small celebration with my family. Then, days after that, I was busy thinking of the course I will take in college, busy going to different universities taking entrance exams. But besides school related matters, I was also busy enjoying my summer with families, and with friends as well.
