Being Cheated

When I was young, my parents had hired a maid to look after us. Im not sure how old I was at that time but I still able to understand the incident that happen. On the first day,the maid was very nice to all of us and she also has a beautiful look too,so maybe because of that my parents trust her and they never thought she would do something bad. On the day the incident occurred,my parents,aunt and uncle go to work and leaving me and my other siblings at home. I still remember the maid told us all to play in my parents bedroom and at that time we did not think much so we just follow what she told us to do. Im not sure when the time she told us to enter the room,probably close to the evening. So we've been playing in the room until our parents came home from work. Then they ask us where did the maid? We're too busy playing in the room so we not sure where she went. My parents look for her at my aunt bedroom but she was not there and they are shocked that all stuff in the room very scatter,at that time my parents realized that the maid was a thief. Most of my aunts stuff like clothe,jewelry and handbag had been stolen. After that incident my parents don't want to hire a maid anymore. Because in hurry to hire a maid my parent did not investigate background of the maid correctly so this has cause them being cheated and they very regret with what happened.
