what you see is the silhoutte of the famous twin towers you find in the capital city of kuala lumpur, but there are so many more areas and places of interest in the country which are awaiting the visitor .... what is your interest?

We visited Malaysia a long time ago. I loved Bukit Fraser best of all, I think. It was so cool and green. I remember going down to the pool at the end of the waterfall near there and eating breakfast on the patio of a store.
All of Malaysia is interesting and some of it is downright beautiful. We spent a night in Kuala Lumpur but didn't get to explore much. There was a parade and a festival of some kind when we got there and we had a hard time finding a place to stay.

Oh yes, Bukit Fraser is a beautiful place. Ah, the patio at the store, I believe you are referring to the end shop. It still serves simple fried noodles and other malaysian varieties, such an inviting place in the cool evening in the far away highland with so few limited public eating places. If one were to drive around the hill, one will come across an English-style bungalow-turned-into-a-fine-dining-restaurant further up the hill through the winding road, where one could have an English-style garden tea with scones. But it costs a bomb, by malaysian standard! One could also stay overnight in one of several bungalows with comfortable fireplace in the sitting lounge! Yes, the waterfall and the shallow pool ... for one, gives you cool fresh, clean mountainside water! You know, I first learned how to hit a golf ball in the public course next to the town centre. The first tee box by the roadside, is where many a golf rookie hits the first shot. Once I overheard a lady while watching a ball careening towards the side drain and landing in the drain, asking the man next to her ... why don't that smart guy just hit the ball straight down the wide open field???
When was the last time you were in Kuala Lumpur? I bet you would not recognise the skyline the next time you come around!

I remember the golf course!
We explored around the town quite a bit, but it's been quite some time. The last time I was in Kuala Lumpur was... over 30 years ago. I know it has to have changed a lot since then. I sometimes think it's unfortunate that everything has to change.
We were living in Singapore at the time and it was a good vacation for us.

You're making me want to go back, at least to Bukit Fraser. I have a lot of fond memories of that place.
I remember narrow streets and a lot of people mostly when I remember Kuala Lumpur. I would be totally lost if I went back after it changed that much.

are you from malaysia? I visited Malaysia before when we went to a Singapore-Kuala Lumpur cruise when i was younger. Yes, Malaysia is very beautiful. I also like Korea. You can go skiing there on the winter season. It is very nice! You should go there and try it. Aside from this, there are also so many shopping sites there; both affordable and luxurious! So I really recommend Korea if you want to go shopping and skiing. You should visit the Philippines too. Go to Boracay if you want to see a true white beach :) happy mylotting.

Yes, I am from Malaysia. In past years had been out of the country and back. Now as I travelled all over the country, I do appreciate more the beauty within one's own backyard. Yeah, South Korea indeed also has many pretty sights to offer over the four seasons, so's Japan. Philippines too have her natural beauty even though I have only got to be in Manila. You too, happy mylotting! I was away from the website after first trying to go about it a couple of years ago, and how time flies as i think back! Cheers for more mylotting.

I am from Malaysia but not living in Kuala Lumpur. Sometimes though I do go for a short trip for a few days at Kuala Lumpur. The Petronas Twin Tower is quite a sight to see especially during night time. The building seems to be so grand and there are proper lighting all over it. I have not seen it during dusk so I have yet to see a silhoutte look of it.
