Today, the vice president addressed the NAACP's 103rd Annual Convention in Houston and with a little surprise to the expectant crowd: Before Joe Biden gave his speech, president Barack Obama addressed the NAACP via video. Of course, there were applauds and applauds.
"We see education as the single most important criteria for minority children ...," Joe Biden told NAACP.
"We see education as central to the vision of ascendency for Americans," said Joe Biden.
"You go home with those that brought you to the dance," Joe Biden told NAACP at beginning of his speech: Literally announcing he was lifetime member of NAACP.
"We see an America that leads by the power of its example as well as the example of its power."
Joe Biden on Mitt Romney:
"Education doesn't play a central role in the Romney(GOP) vision for the future of America ... It's on the back burner. If you doubt me, look at their budget."
"(Mitt Romney) is not sure whether or not Lilly Ledbetter is good ... but he's sure on his position on Roe v. Wade."
Joe Biden on Republicans:
"This ain't your father's Republican party."
"The tax code that governor Romney & his allies support continue to skew toward the wealthy."
"They see a country where voting is made harder, not easier ... there is a lot more to say; but I am preaching to the choir."
Joe Biden on Congress:
"Obstructionism was a plan from the outset."
"They have never let up ... but neither has my guys!"

What reason could anyone possibly have for wanting to see or hear Joe Biden?

Joe Biden is the opinionated US vice president. Should that not be worthy of something?

Pretty words, no substance.
In fact, on education many actual black voters PREFER the choice method, vouchers for choice in where their kids are educated. Because we all know, black and white, that kids are NOT BEING EDUCATED for sucess in the public top down, union controled federal school system. Of course anyone who can see this knows that the federal government is only wasting tax money on public schools and that parents choosing the BEST for their children (by vouchers) is the way to go. Blacks overwhelmingly realize the public government schools are failing their children.
And the LilyLedbetter law, well, I don't think Obama's administration even follows it since women who work for his administration are paid less than the men, and don't get into leadership postitions as often. Not to mention, women are hit harder by this economy than before he got into office. They have MORE degrees than ever before but cannot find a job, make less when employed. And guess what else, women are beginning to see how Roe vs. Wade HURTS them rather than helps them. Obstructionism, Harry Reid is the one holding up legislation coming from the House, and it has been coming. Lots of bills tabled by good old Harry.
The black vote is not in Obama's pocket. He ought to have been there but he wasn't.

On the Roe vs. Wade issue, look at sites like blackgenocide.com Many blacks are waking up to the fact that Planned Parenthood has targeted THEIR neighborhoods for clinics and that it is black babies who are the bulk of the abortions done. Yeah, Biden did good mentioning Roe vs. Wade to blacks who are very socially conservative even if they are Democrats politically. And don't think black conservtives (politically) aren't speaking up to those social conservatives within the black community. They are, and Obama isn't paying attention. He's to busy trying to buy the latino vote with amnesty.
