How do you keep your relationship strong when everyone is turning you apart?

If you are letting everyone else judge you relationship, can it really be that strong to start with? Looks like you and you mate should sit down and talk about what you want and not what everyone else in the world is asking of you. Who are you dating, your mate or the world?
