I loved it.. I will not compare them though..i also loved the previous series.. I am a big fan of Andrew garfield even before this, so i was so excited he got a famous role.. HE played Peter well and he had great chemistry with emma stone too. I can't wait for the sequel.. The movie was very entertaining and also funny..and there were those really sad moments and the action was awesome.

Spiderman is my favorite superhero but I am going to wait and watch this on DVD. The trailers look great but The Lizard was never a character I could get into. Alothough in saying that I am sure I will love the movie when I see it. I just hope this reboot keeps the series going and we get to see some of the better storylines.

I didn't even watch it in the movie theater, since i think it is still the same. I just got the earliest copy i found on the internet, and it was already good. i shall wait for the dvd copy.

I have just seen it today and I was really impressed the way the director wants to show the way he picture Spider man. I love the Toby McGuire series too, but this one is more impressive and funny.

yeah,i liked the director too, and the new costume was okay for me.. it did seem like he was really a spider when he moved. I found it as funny as the old movies, i think Andrew really fir the character well.. even a bit better.

Your right the costume is a bit different from the previous movie of Toby. I don't know if it's the same director who did the first but in this one he did it meticulously. Especially the stunts, it's more convincing. You won't get bored watching it because some funnier (comical) scenes.

hello, I also loved this movie. It was super awesome. I also loved the previous three movies about spiderman. Tobey mcguire did a great job. But I think Andrew Garfield played it brilliantly. The story of this movie much more cool than the first movie with Tobey. I think this one deserves much more credit. The actions scenes were really cool. They have made a great movie. Emma stone was also cool. She looked super cute. All the characters were new and fresh. All in all thumbs up!!

Yeah, i think this movie was better than the trilogy but is still like both of them as peter, they were different but still similar.. I can't wait for a sequel, i hope they make it soon.

I haven't seen the movie but I know ultimately, it's going to be a sad story. The character storyline arcs are well established in the source material - the comic books.

same here, i love this, even only a re-make, great movie. i can say that this is probably, without a doubt, my second favorite movie of all time (hehe). and with the title itself, i also find this movie very amazing, not only a better and much clearer story line, the stunt scenes and everything are truly amazing! i am very very sure, these "first person" or POV (point of view) effect they strongly emphasized (as well as introduced, i believe) will be a great start of producing awesome effect'd films. and with respect to my wife, i love Gwen Stacy! :)) yep, i can't also wait for the sequels, and i am very sure, they are worth the wait!

Wow, you really like this movie so much. I do love the lead characters too- and the directing was also nice.. i can't believe he only did a few movies.. I hope all of the main cast and directors are still in for the next movie.

Hi friend, i too like spiderman movies a lot, it will give more fun and enjoyment to kids as well as elder persons. We will get more excitement while seeing the activities of the spider man.

yeah, i love watching superhero movies too, since even though they are very unbelievable, it gives a lot of entertainment.. It also teaches some moral lessons..and how, even superheroes have normal problems.

Yes, i am not a big fan of Toby , but i do lve his take on Spider man.. he had 3 movies anyway, i think that was enough. I hope Andrew garfield can have 3 movies too..

It was that good because there is already a trailer for the sequel which will still be released next year 2013. Emma Stone is better than the Mary jane. hehhee

Yeah, i love Stacy more than mary jane since she is a strong girl and she really helped Spiderman and not just a damsel in distress. I hope she still has a major role in the sequel, they have great chemistry.

I think the amazing Spiderman looks brilliant I never liked Toby mcquire as Spiderman so I believe this one will be better also I think the doc croc as the enemy is awesome.

I don't know much villains in the comics, only a few.. and i also thought that the Lizard wasn't a really hard villain to defeat- although i did get alarmed a bit since he can heal and grow everything back..

Yeah, i only know the villain that were shown in the first 3 movies, and also the guy who really hates Spiderman, the guy in the newspaper company whom Peter gives pictures to.

I know a lot about the comics and I used to watch the cartoons so I know a few of the villains the main villain is the green goblin who was in the first movie with Toby mcquire then you have the hob goblin which is the son of the green goblin. Another main enemy is doctor Octopuss which features a lot but all of these characters have been used before same as venom and carnage but the lizard is a re-occurring character he is extremely strong and also very intelligent as he was once s scientist which makes him a difficult for spiderman.

I also liked The Amazing Spider-Man, even though it's a reboot the changed the story and made it better. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone did great for there respective roles ...
