Ok, so restated playing wow a month ago. I leveled a Pally to 85 and now, I'm thing what was the point. I cannot gear because mu iLvl is not high enough to do raids. How the heck is one to get gear. How does this make any since? I have tried the LFG function only to be kicked out of instances because I dont know the fights well enough or my DPS is too low. What is a new 85 to do? Other than make new toons to play around with?

One of the things you can try is to join a guild on the realm you play on. It is usually much easier to run dungeons and raids with people that are in the same guild.

I also have a 85 Prot/Ret Paladin. The only suggestion I would have is to check out youtube or tankspot and educate yourself on the fights. LFG is always hit or miss. Sometimes you get a group of people that are willing to help you learn the fights, but anonymity really turns people into jerks in gaming. I personally haven't done much with raiding lately because it is so time consuming and a pain to try and get the iLvl gear for it. I'm more of an achievement person so I've been working on that.
