Will you dye your hair forever and never look back to your natural color? My hair is black and I'm having a lot of fun just now dyeing it to auburn. Although I haven't experimented too much and just using over the counter coloring agents I haven't had the best color I really wanted.
Though I'm loving the color of my hair now I would still go back to my natural color which is black anytime and I'm going to be asked if I would dye my hair different color than my natural one for the rest of my life I'd say no.
I'm just experimenting but I know that my natural color is lovely on me. How about you guys? Why do you dye your color in a different color? For fun, experiment or you hate your own natural hair color?

I also have naturally black hair which i love. i get compliments on it is sort of unique being caucasian [ i am quite pale ;) ]
it is difficult to find a good hair dye salon or not for black hair, you need to strip out the pigment so it very damaging.
i did once get highlights of red and light brown but i thought it looked too fake maybe if i only chose 1 colour to highlight with.
the problem is when/if you want to go back to black it will be difficult to find a realistic black. --which is what i am weary about in terms of experimenting. i love auburn hair though, would consider it for fun. a dark red, rich colours.
overall i like natural on anyone the best.

Most people I knw not only dye their hair to stay in fashion but to cover the grays! I've had various amts of gray in my hair for several years and I am not "old" yet. So why should I look it? I also enjoy highlighting my hair to brighten up my hair and face. I don't do alot of experimenting with mine, I'd like to with un natural colors and put say a streak of purple or something fun in my hair.

I like my hair color, and I don't understand why anyone would want to dye their hair all of the time except, perhaps, to cover gray. It is hazardous to one's health to routinely use chemical dyes. Why would I choose to jeopardize my health to maintain a hair color or colors that are not my own?

My hairs are black and i used to dye it becomes light brown...My hairs was a bit dry after that. However it keep it back to black now and have no idea to dye it again. Right now i just want to curve it only with big wave...that's all.

My natural hair color was black. It was 10 years ago I think that I last had it. I don't like my new hair color. But I don't seem to have a choice. ~ It makes me always looking in jealousy who have their hair in natural color. It is not fun at all. I want to go back to my natural color - the color that my hair was born. Sadly it can only happen in my dreams now.

To be real honest, I am not much of a fan of hair-dying. Especially the experimental way. I have had some thoughts of actually doing it, and imagining myself what would I look like with a different hair color. Maybe these thoughts were influenced by the TV shows that I get to watch, at times. But at the end of the day, I would still love to keep my natural hair color. I have learned to love it and plan on keeping it, even when the pigmentation begins to falter. :)
