I was waiting in line this morning in the atm machine, there was a lady ahead of me and i was like a meter away from her, but she told me that i should move a bit more backwards as i was too near! As if i will look at her pin! So i moved a bit backward, after 15 minutes or so, she was not yet done fondling with the atm machine. All i hear was toot toot... then she would remove the card and insert it again and the same beep sound we hear... i do not know if she needs help as she looks like she does.. then she left the line telling she will be back! But i went ahead and withdraw money less than a minute i was done and i saw her at my side looking as if i snatched her place lol... i really tried hard not to laugh as she looks furious! For some reasons the people behind us wants to laugh at her as well... there are really people who i cannot understand. i want to help her but she does not seem she wants help to come to her.

Indeed! There are people like this really. That's why I would usually look away when in line for the ATM machine. Further, I would really get annoyed if the person is obviously doing something weird, like how that lady was taking the card and inserting it again. Seems she forgot her pin hehehe.. Well. Have a great Mylot experience ahead!

When I find someone is having a hard time at the ATM machine, I do not offer my help, but if there is a bank security guard, I ask the guard to help that person. After all, most ATM machines say don't trust other people; Ask help from bank personnel. So, that's what I do.

One word: Pride, which in this case only means arrogance and stupidity. Some people deserve to be helped while some just need to learn their lesson first.

I hate ATMs. No matter what way a card is supposed to go, at the store, at the gas pump, it doesn't matter, I always insert wrong. Drives me nuts. Then if you forget your pin, forget it. When I had a card years ago, I put my work check in and it jammed. I could not get money out. It was a three day weekend. So the jam was on a Friday and it was Tuesday afternoon before they had it fixed and my problem rectified. So I could do nothing that weekend. So IO was years before I did anything with one again.

I also observed several persons of that kind. Although sometimes we just have to understand them also for some reasons such as they do not also know whom to trust. But there are times that if I've seen that they really need help, I will insist on helping, if my presence alone is not enough, it's about time to show them my ID and everything will be okay.

LOL well sounds like she is a worry wart when it comes to using an atm. I know at our atm people wait outside the door of the building until the person at the atm is done. I think its a nice gesture on their part and so that is what I started doing when I saw others doing it. I hadent even thought about it before. I think what is ridiculous is that this woman was taking so long using the atm. If she was having problems she should have let you all go ahead and then asked for help. It only takes less then a minute usually to get money out of an atm. You guys having to wait in line behind her so long is ridiculous.

I think he's quite selfish people, negative thinking, and less sociable. Her attitude complicate her own self. Should she have an ATM machine at his home. Just ignore such people, not to affect your life!

There are people who really have pride or maybe they don't just trust strangers, that is why they don't like asking help....
