Danger of Portable Charcoal Barbecue in a Tent

Its horrible to lose someone you love because of an accident and a decision that you shouldn't have done. Parents of a young girl who's camping decided to put a portable charcoal barbecue inside the tent where they were sleeping. After a few hours their daughter inhaled the fumes (carbon monoxide) coming from the griller and it caused their daughter to go on arrest and died. Its not cold here in our country and we only have two seasons, summer and rainy. And I never heard a news like this here. Sometimes its negligence of reading instructions for this kind of equipment could be blamed. Its an honest mistake the parents did. They owned up to their decision and blamed themselves for what happened. It was a cold night they said and they just wanted their daughter to be warm. I can't fathom how hard it is for the parents since this is for them was an accident and a failure in judgment. I hope they will find peace in the future for what happened to their daughter.
