I think this would be neat to do as well. I don't have any family members who do this but I think it would be good work. I would enjoy traveling for work if it was a reasonable schedule and if I didn't have any children. It would be fun and as long as I have a place to call home it would be perfect.

I would agree with you. Many things in life are that way. They often have advantages and disadvantages we just have to weigh them and see what is the best. I agree to that relationships need communication. This will go along way in keeping the relationship strong when things get tough.

I also think it would be really fun to get to travel for a living! I don't know anyone who does this personally though, so I don't know how one would get a job like that. It would certainly be an interesting job and very educational to get to experience different cultures. The only downside for me would be living out of a suitcase so much and all the jet lag! I think it would be a great job for awhile, but eventually, I would be ready to just settle down and stay in one spot. :-)

There are a variety of jobs that are centered around travel. Some people really enjoy those sorts of jobs.
The one thing that I would like to do would be for my boyfriend and I to travel for the sake of writing some books. However, I would not want to do this all of the time; this would be for short periods of time in order to accomplish what was needed in order to do the research necessary for the books. I want to be settled in one place, have a home, have a community, have a few kids; it is difficult to do those things if one spends much of one's time traveling.

I think that there are several options. You can work on a plane, you can be a tour guide and you can write travel guidebooks. My friend once worked in a travel agency, she didn't get paid for travelling, but she got a lot of discounts and she was able to travel a lot. That sounds like a dream job to me I would also love to work as a travel writer, that would be the perfect way to earn money from my passion. I would love to visit a lot of different places and write guidebooks about those places. I would use my experience from the guidebooks that I have have read and used and create useful guidebooks for the independent traveller. I have also thought about becoming a tour guide, but I think that I would prefer to be a travel writer.

Everyone travels for the living actually. I travel from my room to my job location everyday.
If I talk about what you really mean then I think there are no such job. Only possible way is when somebody asks you travel with them and then offer the money in return for your time, but that is not possible with me till now.

Travel is my top hobby and not my job. I think that a job where you travel most or all of the time would be excellent. Some people work on board a plane as a member of cabin staff. These sorts of people can usually spend lots of time overseas and gather a list of favorite destinations. Long haul flights mean a number of days in the destination. The best airline job would be a pilot but I think it is challenging to become one of those. I liked working as a children's nanny and then went into primary school teaching. Some people work overseas as a teacher of English like my ex husband who does this in China. He is Australian. I did children's nanny work in Finland and Australia. I recommend a working holiday to young people wishing to visit Australia. That is the way that I manged to work in lovely Australia.
