Did your dog ever bite somebody?

My dog is old and grumpy, and will be defensive of the house if he doesnt know someone new. This is I guess good if someone tries to break in, but is a pain when you have someone new over because you don't know what his reaction will be. The good news is he is really old and doesn't have many teeth left, so if he gets you it is not that bad.

Are you not concerned of rabies? Have you had anti-rabies shot and your dog as well? I am a cat person but I am taking care of a dog right now, in a way, as I am the one feeding it. This dog belongs to my friend. He adopted it from the street, a stray puppy at that time. Now, I believe it's been living with me for a month and like I said, I am a cat person so I do not play or usually go near this dog. This dog is a small type and it doesn't really know how to harm anybody. It does a funny trick actually whenever it sees me. It stands up and dances around with only his hind legs touching the ground while the front ones are up in the air. The only thing I hate about this puppy though is that it keeps on licking me. Once again, I am a cat person and I am very uncomfortable with the licking. Anyway, I have never been bitten by a dog but by my cats, definitely a lot, usually during playtime.

I've been bit by a dog when I was young. It was one of my cousins' dog and it was only a small bite. Our dog has never bit anyone but she's only 2 and a half. She was attacked by a smaller dog but she didn't bit her. She only step above the small dog and she was growling at her and showing her huge teeth.

hi bionic, My two dogs had fight two months ago I tried to separate them and they accidentally bit me I was not worried cause they have anti rabies injection after a month same incident happened so I let myself to have an anti rabies vaccination for may safety. My dogs are temperamental one specially my chow chow I suggest you should consult a doctor so you can have a anti rabies vaccination happy mylotting

your tale is quite topsy-turvy but your question is quite clear whether I too was ever beaten by my dog. I was never beaten by mine or any dog or any of my dogs biting someone or onother dog. The secret for that matter is to train the dog as early as posible to be a friendly dog.

I've had dogs in the past right now we do not have a dog in our home. But when we did none of them every really tried to bit any one. The only time they did was when they where playing and they started to get to excited but they never bit hard enough to do any damagne and we always warned people while playing with them. Now our dog that we recently had he tried biting my daughter a few times after she started being able to walk and so she didn't get hurt we gave him a way to someone that didn't have any little kids and that had more time to spend with him because that was what he was wanting. Poodles tend to get jealous easily. In about a year we are going to get another dog but one that is much older and is calmer and out of the puppy stage. People don't know but dogs puppy stage is like 3 years long.
