I guess it's different for different people... When I'm looking for a phone, I don't base in on some social application... For me, smart phone is more than something you can only check into Facebook with... It has to do with emails, document accessibility and other office uses as well... I mean if people want to get a phone just to get on a Facebook & play some games & listen to music with, I'm sure there are other options out there but each to their own, I guess... Personally I think it's waste of money in both phone itself & monthly data bill but that's only because I don't see a need for it myself... That being said, HTC phones I've used seem to have too short of a battery life on it, again, for what I have to use it for... I'm sure they have improved on it since the last time I've used it... I've tried few different ones & even though they came really handy, I found myself being tied to power source too many times... Blythe way,I go through somewhere between 2,500 - 3,000 minutes of voice calls & close to 1,000 text messages, few gigs of data, & 4,000 - 5,000 emails a month... Of course they vary month to month but seems like I tend to average around those numbers... My "complaint" about battery power may not be for a normal usage...

I was looking at some of the reviews on youtube and i think the facebook and the facebook button is just a feature and you don't always have to have all the features. I am still considering it because all i need is a simple phone with some apps , texting {the keyboard is really good!} and email.Nothing much.
