I was so shock and I prayed he won't be wondering around but find peace now, it's very difficult as suicide is something a soul shouldn't commit as the suffering doesn't end when one leaves the body. This is an absolute shock and I don't see really what efforts Japan is doing to end this. I can't imagine how a little child was as sad as to decide for this option, it must had been horrible. It happens all the time in Japan and I hear they moved Fukushima's Earthquake relief money to help whaling? While there are horrible problems as bullying and schools are getting away with this. A teacher here bullied me as well, they were very racist.

Being bullied is a tormenting experience, especially for kids. The thing is parents should know when their kids are bullied and they should try to help him/her overcome this. Maybe, enroll the kid in martial arts so that if things go way out of hand he/she could defend himself/herself.

That's a good idea, if they are going to face a fight anyway. But kids really must stand up for themselvse, when I did the leader got so freaked out, I just froze there thinking: 'Is she afraid of me? My God she is a coward! All this time she was a coward.' The other bullies I found in life were also, they pick who is quiet, who seems harmless. I love that video where a bully is hitting a boy, and then the boy's friend comes, she is a girl! And the coward bully hits her too, then an adult wich is clearly a boxer just come and gives one in the face, the bully just pass out, lol. I wish all bullies, I don't care what age hat the beating of his life.

Bullies are just insecured bast***s who hide their weaknesses by bullying other people. The only way to put an end to their reign of terror is to hit them when they least expect it. Just like what you did! The element of surprise could totally change the tide of battle. By the way, I'm not suggesting going physical with the bull (but if it could yield good results, why not?), but rather hit him where it would hurt him the most - his ego.

Really sad to know. It is very horrible. What is the duty of a teacher? He is there to teach properly, with love, gentleness and to scold whenever necessary. Teacher is also playing an important role in making career of a child, like his parents. But in the said case it is exactly reverse position, the teacher is a main cause for the life of a child. This is very ridiculous and against humanity.

Hi katie: These are really sad news and this really makes clear how not doing anything on bullying could let these situations happen. Families, schools and the government should actively fight against bullying. They could save lives taking the right preventive actions. ALVARO

I really hate bullies. I feel really sad for the boy, he was so young and led a miserable life that he felt the need to end it. I hope he can still be in a good place even after what he did.. i can't even imagine how the parents felt. I hope now japan will do more actions to stop bullying.

I'm sorry then for posting such news but I tried to get out of my mind after praying for his soul but it was there all the time, so I decided to talk about it. I hope he finds his way even though what happened indeed! That's why is good for others to pray, a prayer breaks entrances, it can bring him mercy.

oh my!.. That's a sad and bad new.. :( I'm sorry for what is happening in your country regarding that bullying issue. It's also one of our problem here in the Philippines mostly in schools... some student don't want to go to school because of a teacher or classmates making fun of them, and I'm glad that the Department of Education did a great action for it. They approved a "NO BULLYING POLICY" in all schools, private or public school and many parents and students were glad that it was implemented this school year. :) And Katie0, ignore those whose bullying you.. Don't level yourself to them... Remember, you have something they don't even have :) Cheer up! :)
