I just heard one of the craziest thing and made me wonder if the way some famous religions acted didn't do more harm than good. This person thinking God would go to hell for all the killing in his name... that was humans right? It was not a religion but a form of control cause they would kill and kill and I don't see them helping the world until today, the so called holy have some crimes under their sleeves and it's just sad that some people are just loosing their faight because of that, just sad.

When it comes to formal religions just throw your common sense away, they are set up to control people through fear and to make money for the top people. I figured out a long time ago that if there is a God and he is the creator, he has a great senss of humor and very little to do with religion. So keep your faith, no matter what you call it there is positive energy that you need in your life, be it God, Angels or any other name you need to apply, that energy will better your life.

You are very an owner of your own mind, not letting anyone to control the way you think, that's rare. Most people are sheeps. I hear people calling some Animal Rights people terrorists and I don't get how they can agree with some questionable newspapers just because the headline was writen like this: terrorists kills, they never kill or even touch anyone, they are just being the voice of the voiceless.
I've passed my teens learning the famous religions, I wanted to find the way but after a time I was dropping them, one after another. I even had a catholic or just other Christian religion trying to call me to his church but I asked him a simple question and he was practically running away from me, so it was okay for me to go there, become a believer and pay but not even giving me a hand? I didn't went and I actually never went to study that religion cause I didn't feel they are compassionate at all, he seemed like a bussiness man trying to sell something. I was 16 but that didn't fool, I think most are indeed bussiness. there are laws and money and they watch you, not cool
Just charity, volunteering, helping others, trying to be a better person. That's all hehe.

Yes
, I'm sure many suffer thinking how life or people in general were bad at them, made them suffer and looks to God for salvation, a hand to pull them out but the strenght is invisible and in one's pride the person forgets that there was a help, in a form of a message, God send a good person our way and all, but generally we ask for help but don't thank.
I believe thankful and positive receives more blessings because they open the channel.

What the God means. Generator,Organizer and Destruct er. Craziest things always happens because of crazy people only. This is something like blaming a teacher for the wrong answer. Nobody should held responsible to a God for our mistakes. Nobody has ever seen or experienced a hell or a heaven, the only thing i know that the God has created us to do good and right things.

Well i am not so sure how can GOD goes to hell if hell is a place GOD himself created and satan or devil or lucifer is someone GOD himself created. Religion is one of or probably the only thing that created more war and killings than any other thing in the world. But all these happens probably due to misinterpretion of the religions true meaning. It is human themselves that thirst for blood. Christianity, Islam, Buddhism or Hinduism all promotes peace love and care so it is baffling to see how these humans can suddenly think that religion promotes war in the name of spreading the word. Even if there's part of the holy book that shows how humans in the ancient times fought with each other just for the sake of the religion, one should be able to think logically and try their best to follow only the good things in the holy book such as spreading the love instead of violence.

I haven't even ever entertained this on my mind..but nice try. Hell is for sinners and God didn't create sin. God is a God of 'no sin' so hell will never be for him.
Poor man-he blames God for his own wrong doing..

Yes, when we are positive, loving and thankful it's possible to feel His love and how He forgives us all and created us all with free will. The Inquisition was very unfortunate but man made, I wonder how most blames God and not that religion for the Inquisition, it wasn't God.

Hi katie: You are right, this is really crazy. There's no relation into the actions some fundamentalist do even if they think they are doing the right thing and God who is all love and justice.

God DID go to Hell, and escaped/moved out of it! And we are all to follow Him.
You might remember that a large part of the first portion of the Bible is about 'building the empire of God's sons.' I haven't yet heard any church-leaders deny that.
In fact, 'the name of God' is "Jealous"---indicating that--if there's anything of any value in the world--He wants it more than any of us could (and thus orders us to take it 'in His name.')
