From Right hand to Left hand guitarist

I am a guitarist for almost 10 years, Right handed to be specific. Is it easy to shift from right handed to left handed? Is there a guitarist that can play right hand and lefthand? what do you prefer if I want to learn the other one? thanks guys

I don't personally know an ambidextrous guitar player, but I do know that Michael Angelo Batio is a self-taught ambidextrous guitar player. I think switching wouldn't be the easiest thing in the world. You right hand wouldn't be as quick as your left (possibly) and your left may not be quite used to picking. It obviously can be done, but you may have to start almost from the beginning again.

I almost forgot, ambidextrous is the right term. yes, it wouldn't be to switch. If I switch, should I also switch a guitar. Does the string also changes in order? Have a nice day ilgontae
