As I mentioned in an earlier post, I have always wanted to write the story of my life. However, I am afraid it would be a 4000 page book because my life never seems to stop.
So, my question for myLotters today is this: Pick one life experience that you think would be entertaining enough to write a novel about.... What experience would you choose.
Personally, If I had to pick a single experience it would be when I moved to Florida. I was living in Pennsylvania at the time. It was hurricane season in 2004 when Florida was being mangled by storms. A friend of mine had the idea that if we moved to Florida, we could make a fortune cleaning up the mess. He was talking out of his rear end, not really seriouse. But, at that moment the ball began rolling. 6 days later, I and 4 other friends, were on our way to the South. We were unsure where we would end up, only that we wanted to be in the "sunshine state".
The next six months of my life had quit the impact on my life. I beleive the book would be quite entertaining.
So, MyLotters.... would you mind sharing one life experience that you would like seen written in a novel??

I would write about the period of my life where I travelled a lot and worked abroad. I have lived in 4 different countries in addition to my own and I think it is could be interesting to write a novel about some of the experiences that I had while I was living abroad. Another option would a novel that was related to some of the different jobs that I have had like jobs in kindergartens, homes for people with special needs or nursing homes. I love working with people and I have had many different kinds of jobs in the past. I think that I could find some inspiration for a novel among some of the people that I have met.

Wow! That's quite a life decision to make so suddenly. I admire your spunk! I guess I would choose to write about my medical ordeal. I can't believe everything I went through, in the supposed "prime" of my life. It boggles my mind that I went through it intact. My heart intact and my sanity intact.

I don`t want to sound cheesy, but i really want to write something about my family, specifically about our love story or the journey of my six years old son who has autism. Our love story is quite unique because my wife is more like a strong woman who acts like a boss. And i am a person who doesn`t care at all in those kind of stuffs. I just found myself suddenly expressing my feelings to her in a very awkward way. And about my son, its been very tough for us of course to have this kind of situation but it makes us realize reality more and it makes us stronger as a family

If I would be gifted enough to write about an area of my life, well there are so many things and from different perspectives too. When I read your question, my mind generated two things. First, is about my first love. How I met my first boyfriend, how we were, and why will I never forget about him. He is like a dream that never happened. But thinking about writing it, I feel like it would sound pathetic and tiresome. Add boring too. I feel like it would sound to good to be true and not special too. So moving on, my mind suddenly remembered the times when I worked as a nurse. I think that with the population of nurses these days, more people can relate to the experiences I had when I was still working as one. So there you have it, if I would write about something in my life, it would be the funny, hilarious, scary, adventurous and heartwarming, roller-coaster ride of my life when I worked as a nurse.
