favorite moviestars?

Great to hear about your choices. My favorites Indian actors include Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Kajol and among the Hollywood stars i adore Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt very much because of the style and attitude they carry with themselves.

i always like a starcast of hollywood celebrities,most of them make it like angelina jolie,brad pitt,steve carrell,steve martin and even kirsten stewart.they are all talented actors and can mesmerise even with their looks and on screen presence.i love mr and mrs smith for sure and i do collect their movies right from film no 1. Actually right now i am on a quest to watch all jim carry movies.

I am no doubt a lot older than you so some of my favorites are older. Some of them are now too old to be great stars like Clint Eastwood or James Garner. It's often sad when you see a great actor get old. That's why I won't watch On Golden Pond with a very old Henry Fonda. The Shootist is also a sad film because I featured John Wayne, who was dying of cancer, as an old gunfighter, dying of cancer. The movie also featured one of the great actors of the '40's to '60's, Jimmie Stewart in one of his last roles. One of the great things about movies is that they do preserve many of our heroes in a timeless fashion. We can go back and see Gary Cooper, Humphrey Bogart, or Spencer Tracy again and again. Marilyn Monroe will always be young and sexy. Some actors burst on the scene and with time become major stars, like Robert De Niro, or Paul Newman. Others start off great, but make questionable life decisions like Mel Gibson. Some great actors are forced to work below themselves just to keep working, like Charleton Heston or Laurence Olivier. Well, just listen to the song "Celluloid Heroes" by the Kinks.

hello savagecabbage. My favorite star is johnny Depp. I really love him, so universal in all movies or plots. He can be anything. I also collect all his movies and put it in my archives. happy mylotting too

actually, my favorite movie stars belong to our local (showbiz) industry. but i will still share who are, not really my favorites, but i say, international movie stars i admire. one of them is Keanu Reeves, and i have been a fan of his "The Matrix" trilogy films ("The Matrix", "The Matrix Reloaded" and "The Matrix Revolutions"), as well as "Speed", "Johnny Mnemonic", "The Devil's Advocate", "Constantine" and "Street Kings". another is Nicolas Cage. i never get tired of watching his movies like "The Rock", "Con Air", "Face/Off" (with John Travolta), "Gone in Sixty Seconds", "National Treasure" and "National Treasure: Book of Secrets" and "The Sorcerer's Apprentice". and there are a couple of his movies i have to watch one day: "Ghost Rider" and "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance". i have many more to mention, but to keep my post "short", i will just state their names (hehe). Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, Robert Downey Jr., John Travolta, Harrison Ford, Jacky Chan, Jet Li, Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Mickey Rourke and Stephen Chow (yep, Stephen Chow!), they all rock!

Jonny Depp is one of my fave actor,,he is a great actor for evry role he did. I adore Bruce Wills, Will Smith, Samuel L. Jackson, Morgan Freeman and Danzel Washington. They all are most talented actor ever. I only have few actress that made me watch movie with their name include, such as: Anne Hathaway and Jessica Alba :) I never collect the CD'S or DVD'S but I will download all the soundtracks of their movies

My favorites include some from a long time ago and some who have made only a few movies but have done some TV and some that are a bit in both of the latter categories. From an long time I ago I have to go with Natalie Wood and I only have a few videos of her. More current are Amelia Heinle who is better known for being in American soaps but who has done some movies and I do have several of her movies on DVD. Other favorites are Kristin Kreuk, Jennifer Love Hewlitt and a few others.

I'd say my favorite movie stars are Leonardo Dicaprio, Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and Phillip Seymour Hoffman if I were to judge on talent alone. As far as female actresses which I would watch them in anything simply based on attractiveness I would say that Mila Kunis, Olivia Wilde and Christina Hendricks.
