Is there anyone in your family that is so outspoken that it is embarrassing?

My mom tends to be this way. She will say whatever she is thinking and feeling. It doesn't matter where she is at and who she is with. At times this is a great thing especially when we aren't getting the service that customers are suppose to get. At other times it can be embarrassing when she thinks someone is looking at her a wrong way and then she speaks about it very loudly so that they can hear. :). Me on the other hand I'm way more timid than my mom. And I don't like confrontation.

I am quite in a similar situation as you are.. My mom is also quite talkative and shares a lot of my experiences.. and it embarrasses me sometimes. But it's okay, since she is just like that.. and it's not so extreme..

Yeah sometimes they say things that are very embarrassing. I'm glad that your mother doesn't go to the extreme. That gets pretty embarrassing and I wouldn't want anyone mother to be like that.

Well, usually parents are like that. They go on and on about their children's lives, sharing the good and the bad.. especially in reunions.

Not in my family but in my close relatives family where 1 spoilt brat is constantly murmuring about something or other. This kind of weird personality is one in a million occurrence and he is above annoying. He talks about pointing at the people nearby in a loud manner and the person in question will turn around thus embarrassing all others in the family.

Yeah that can be very hard to deal with. Sometimes I tell my mom that I can't go out in public with her because she acts so loud and embarrassing. She laughs about it but i don't like to draw attention.
