Do you ever change things on your computer because you get tired of seeing it?

I don't like seeing yahoo homepage anymore. So I changed it about a month ago. It was getting so distracting and discouraging. News continously about bad things happening, or those who have been able to make millions. I can get a lot more done if I'm not looking at yahoo front page.

I understand what you mean. And at times it can be fun to change those things. It gives us something new to look at. Instead of having to look at the same thing all the time.

we do that with our main screen picture once in awhile, or rather, i do that once in awhile. it is the screen that first comes up when you turn the computer on.
right now, it is a picture of an island surrounded by blue water. i changed it first, in the winter when it was cold here in Canada and i still have the picture because it looks like it would be a cool place to be considering, here in Canada, we are in the middle of a bad heat wave and drought.

I think it would be nice to have a picture like that up as it would be relaxing and help me to remember what my savings will go for a cruise somewhere. Simple things can go along way in changing our mood and the way that we view things. Yeah this weather has been really awful. We need a good week of steady rain.

i seldom change my wallpaper haha. i rarely change homepage or how my online profile looks too cause it would surely take hours or sometimes the whole day to satisfy myself hahaha..
my homepage is a blank page so it wont take time to load. but i use yahoo as my email provider and i spent hours too changing the colors and all when they offered me the beta version.
but spending hours of doing it somehow makes me feel good. when you see your online account looking the way you want it to be. i was addicted into doing so when friendster was still alive.

Lol. Yeah if I was as detailed about changing things as you I probably would never change anything as well. I'm glad though that when you do change things you enjoy what you are doing. It's good to have little things like that, that we can do and enjoy that doesn't cost anything.
