The title says is all.
"your head is the size of a basketball like arnold schwarzenegger at the end of total recall"
I am watching the repeat of this on BBC 3 right now. Did anyone else see it?

Hi zone, I have been negligent lately and not visiting the lot. When I check in again I see a lot of things going wrong but I will just roll with the punches. When I noticed that you had posted two new discussions I just had to comment. You are a lot like me by just lurking in others discussions so when you post one of your own it is something to take notice of.

Savak! Long time no see. How are you doing my favorite little mouse. Great to see you.
Total Recall, I do love that movie. One of Arnies best. love him or hate him lol.
Colin Farrel is in the new one, hes Irish, I wonder will he rap that line in the movie lol. He only used to live about 10 mins from me years back and that is my only claim to fame lol.
Savak comment all you like, I dont mind if you dont read. Hope to see you again soon

You mean to say that there's enough Irish Rappers out there that they were able to make a programme about them? Wow. (Though if that Schwarzenegger line is an example from their rhyming skills,it's no wonder that I couldn't even name one of them...)

Hi shepherdspy,
It is a recent phenomena so i believe. I have never heard any Irish rappers untill that programme. If you do get the chance check it out on BBC 3, I am sure they will repeat it for weeks lol. I never laughed so hard in my life to be honest.
We gave the world Thin Lizzy and U2 but we really do not need to give them this

Maybe it's on the BBC Iplayer...if I felt the urge to watch..Ireland can produce enough unique acts without copying someone else..though I think the Irish "Country" scene is too much of a "Me Too" following in the footsteps of the American genre..I have not the words to express how little I want to see wannabe gangstas rollin with their homies around Mullingar or anywhere else! I'd just be curious as to what the heck they'd be driving, cos Escalades and Hummers are fairly thin on the ground around here..

Yep I just checked, it is on BBC iplayer. The Irish country scene is amazing compared to this cringe worthy stuff. Watch at your peril!
To be honest the guys from cork were likeable, tame compared to the Dublin wannabe gangsters.
All of them are unemployed and dont roll they walk lol. But in saying that the job situation is bad as I am sure you know. I just don't think they will make a living out of it.
You will have to watch it, as words can not really describe how bad it is. I think that is why I liked it so much

I am not sure about rappers in Ireland, but there have been Irish-American rappers here. House of Pain is one group that immediately springs to mind, and they had hits not only in the US but also in Ireland and other European countries. There was another Irish rap group that my friend used to like, but I can't remember the name of it now, and I think that they might have actually been from Ireland rather than descended from Irish lineage.
As for the show that you watched ... no, I have not seen it, and I probably won't unless it is on BBC at a time that I am not watching anything else.

LOL! I will be looking forward to seeing just how bad it is, so I do hope that you are able to find one.
I am sorry to hear about your sound card, though (no pun intended). I had a problem with mine before, and it is not fun, although it is better than problems with your video card.
