Apple Apps for Free Text and Free Call

I was searching for Apple Apps where I could cut down my expenses like Free text and Free calls etc.. Do you have any Apple Apps you can recommend which can be used Internationally?

Try using Viber. I am using that app to call my friends and relatives abroad for free.

I use Viber too. It offers free call and texts even to international numbers. Must have a WiFi connection though for the free call to work. It has also been recently made available in Blackberry smartphones, but still in Beta version. In the Blackberry smartphones, you won't be able to make free Viber calls yet, only free texts.

Never heard of this app, although I don't use an iPhone but have friends who have and plan gettong one soon so that is good news but I need to know it only works with data plans and this app have a blackberry version.

joliefille you right but viber application use wifi connection. I m use fring is the best application for free video call any type of data 3g or 2g internet connection.Any corner in the world its work good.

Well, both are good apps on App Store. You can install Viber on your iPhone to make free calls and text. Fring also nice application to make calls and text, but viber has more users in the world. So, better go with viber..:)

I use my computer for regular computer-y things, and I know diddly-squat about apps for phones and iPads and such. I have a phone that supposedly can access the internet, but I haven't been able to get it to do a thing. No smart phone here, I think it's pretty dumb. Good luck on your search.

I guess skype is free for texting. And for calls the cost is reduced a lot. I dont think making phone calls is free. I have never heard of it.

Only toll free phone numbers are free to call with Skype, and not in every country, but all calls, with or without a webcam, from a Skype user to another are completely free.

I know about MagicJack, it is not free you have to buy the app for pc, I don't know if its the same with the apple app but I don know that you have to buy it and you get a U.S number where people can call you free and you can call all U.S numbers too for free, but when you need to call numbers other than U.S numbers it will be deducted from your account balance you get in you account when you bought the software/app, these calls are extremely cheap, almost free.
